Who knows. I doubt it. I actually don't see him losing any more fights, but we'll see.

What I'm saying though, is Pacquiao would be crucified for fighting someone with 38 losses. Not that it matters too much, cause it doesn't affect Hagler's legacy one bit. We can only look at the overall body of work and consider a fighters' achievements, and with this in mind I see Pacquiao as the greater fighter.

I agree, we won't know **** about this era, before they clash! Then bring in Pacquiao-Mosley, Mayweather Cotto to even out, and then let's start comparing, when it's all over.

        Their previous losses are irrelevant.

Both Hatton and Cotto were considered the best in their divisions and expected to give Pac a tough fight. He moved up and blew them both away.

I can see a case for Hagler, but i think Pac is remarkable.

Most people look back on boxing history and get all sloppy about it, but no fighter is perfect. They all have matchmakers, they avoid certain fighters, and sometimes inexcusably fight complete tomato cans.

I imagine if it was Pacquiao who fought a guy with 38 losses for his 45th fight, you wouldn't be talking nice about him like you are about Hagler.
I understand you are using tit for tat but it was an entirely different era back then where guys with loses weren't considered done by any stretch

while you mention the fighter with 38 losses you do realize before he fought that fighter he fought Bennie Briscoe? You know who Bennie Briscoe is?

Hagler because he took on and defeated all different styles. And he was never KO'd or even hurt in a fight.

Briscoe was a vet tough guy, but by the time he fought Hagler he had 16 loses and was comfortably outboxed by Hagler.

He never won a world title, but i guess if it wasnt for Monzon he may have.
