Hatton and Cotto had both won previous fights.

Duran had lost twice a year before moving up to fight Marvin, Leonard hadnt fought in 3 years.

      apples and oranges.

      one guy dominated a division.

the other guy jumped up and down in divisions.

both guys have great resumes and fought some great fighters.

So what do you think of Hagler fighting a guy with 38 losses for his 45th pro fight?

Most people look back on boxing history and get all sloppy about it, but no fighter is perfect. They all have matchmakers, they avoid certain fighters, and sometimes inexcusably fight complete tomato cans.

I imagine if it was Pacquiao who fought a guy with 38 losses for his 45th fight, you wouldn't be talking nice about him like you are about Hagler.

You can say the same thing about Mayweather though.

LMFAO at all the people just blindly saying Hagler. Probably just 'black Americans' who support Floyd and other 'black Americans'.

Pac is greater than Hagler NOW. He could loose to 50 bums next and his accomplishments will still be there.

Pacquiao's career isn't over yet, so it's unfair to put him up with someone, who though is a legend in the sport, is obviously retired himself.

Pacquiao's got a case if anything.
