true Bennie was clearly on the other side of prime but was still a tough fight for anyone

just because he was past it doesn't mean it doesn't count.

delahoya is a great fighter too. marquez can be classified as a great fighter as well depending on how you define great.
He WAS a great fighter. He was not when he fought Pacquiao. Neither was Delahoya. That's like saying Muhammad Ali was still a great fighter when he lost to Holmes. Or Chavez was still great when he lost to Tszyu. And none of those fighters match up to Hearns, Duran, or Leonard at the time Hagler fought them. Not to mention that Hagler fought everybody that mattered in his division. All of the top fighters. He didn't pick and choose based on styles, height.....

He has said he wasnt hurt. The commentators obviously thought he was.

Amazing how he took those shots.

he was still one of the top guys at 130.

he was past his best but he wasn't shot until the 3rd fight.

people forget morales was winning the beginning of the 2nd fight until he got worn down and his corner started massaging his legs.

Hagler owned the MW division. Took on all comers. Didn't jump back and forth in weight looking for money or challenges that suited his style.

Did you forget that Morales lost his previous fight to Zahir Raheem before the rematch with Pacquiao?

nothing wrong with looking for money.

why do you think hagler was looking for a ray fight for the longest time.

U have to take into consideration Pac moved up many weights to fight them.

Oscar was shot, but i dont believe Barrera, Morales, JMM, Hatton, or Cotto were.

In all those fights Pac was moving up.
