Yeah, I agree with you with him being world class. Thats why I always state he was a top WW. I don't know if the Ring or other orgs dropped him after the Pac fight though.

But Clottey's O is horrible. His defense is an A+ but his Offense is a C-. So he would be an B level fighter imo.

If MAB, EM, Cotto were shot when fighting Manny, then what the hell does that make Shane at 39 compared to fighting floyd?
      Age is relative in boxing.

He's shown the ability to be a live dog even at his age.

People around here argue that with the exception of MAB, all the notable opponents he beat were on some kind of down slide in their career.

I give credit where its due for him beating MAB since he was the under dog in that fight.

I could see someone making an argument that Erik Morales was shot.

Cotto was not the same fighter that beat Mosley and this is Freddie Roach's words not mine.

And I don't for a second believe that anyone around here is making it sound like Mosley is in his prime. If you've read some of the responses around here, or when Mosley at one point during the face off said something out of context, and Floyd looked at the camera and said "He's not old". I think everyone is aware of Mosley's age.

dumbasses calling cotto and hatton shot after 1 loss. so by your logic, pac has been past prime and shot since his first bloody war w/ EM, not to mention his 2 early career KOs. really, these *****s would likely even try to rip apart SRR's resume to push floyd's on top.

I wouldn't call Mosley shot. If you want to call him old, or he lost a step. Okay but shot is a steep dropoff in skill.

MAB and EM were shot. Cotto nah, he was just put in a position where he can't possibly be at his best. We all know Cotto anything below 147 can't take a punch. Why? I don't know, it's just evident in his performances below 147.
how was MAB shot at that time if he he didnt lose 3 years prior to his match with manny, and going on another 4 years without a loss after manny, he was also 29.

Shane's lost 5x prior to this match with floyd, reduced to ESPN friday night fights some years ago. He was supposed to be a tuneup against Margarito but ended up routing him, and that was almost a YEAR and a half ago.

So how was MAB shot 7 years ago, but Shane isnt today. If MAB was shot, Shane is in a wheelchair. Again, I dont think Shane is "shot" but clearly he's not in his prime, and at 39, he's more closer to shot than primed. Throwing out "MAB is shot" is just too easy and incomprehensible

I agree. And its not even close.

Another thing Packy never gets credit for is fighting JMM at his best weight 26' and 30'.

While Floyd fought him at 47'...

MAB wasn't shot when he first fought Pac, That's actually Pacquiaos greatest W on his resume.

Who the **** said MAB was shot against his fight with Manny? MAB was ranked in the p4p list when he fought Manny and was in his prime. Manny gets full credit for beating him and people don't discredit his win against MAB.

I personally never said Hatton was shot, but I do believe Cotto was not the same fighter and it's kinda hard to argue when Freddie Roach and people from that camp say the same thing.

Putting it like that I agree with you 100%. I think Pac had something to do with his Offense being a D- that night but he can bring it a bit against certain fighters when he wants to......I'll go with an A+ Def & C Off giving him a B+ overall....ok lol
