Don't say that. Clottey may be a B level fighter but thats because he has a horrible offense. Not even because of the Pacquiao fight, he ALWAYS had a horrible offense.

Clottey was a top WW at the time. He was available and the easiest to beat. So they chose him. Who else could they have chosen?

2. SSM
3. Berto
4. Vyacheslav Senchenko

Because Clottey lost a close fight to the shot version of Cotto, and his best/most notable win still remains a win over a shot Judah.

I'm not knocking Manny by fighting Clottey at all. This is a separate issue. I want to know what makes you think so highly of Clottey.

He's a tough Welter no doubt, but I wouldn't put him up there with Cotto and Margarito, let alone almost scratching the surface of A class according to you.

He'd be on the lower side of a B fighter, if you consider Cotto and Margarito B or B+ fighter's respectively(Throwing the Plaster stuff aside).
