He's actually a top 10 heavyweight. You can hold Wladimir's losses to Purrity,Sanders and brewster against him,but you can't deny that he has fought virtually every top heavyweight of his era and ducked nobody. He has dominated every top heavyweight he has fought over the last four years. He hasn't cherry picked, ducked punchers and leeched off another mans legacy like "smokey" joke frazier did.He didn't pad his record with bums and pick up the odd top win like foreman did.And he didn't ight as infrequently as Dempsey did during his quite pathetic reign.

If he continues his dominance,he has to be considered among the greatest in the divisions history.

Boxing is more of an international sport then it has ever been. The talent pool being bigger and the way Wladimir has performed in his time I think you have to rate him in the top 10 if he keeps winning.

Top 50 and that's generous, the Klitschkos are no better than Frank Bruno. Prime Frank Bruno would beat everyone that Wlad has beat.

While I think both Klits are better than Bruno I do agree Frank would beat anyone Wlad has beat.

Wlad's real downfalls are those horrible losses to Brewster, Sanders and Puritty all by KO. I know Lewis had some bad KOs - but he avenged his in impressive fashion....(Granted Brewster was stopped by Wlad).

Still, Wlad's is getting very close to the top 10. He is in absolutely devastsing form lately along with his brother.

If they could add together like a transformer then they would be top 2 along side Fields.

Listen,I see the guys fighting now and I know I could beat them all. That’s always the case. I’m Joe Calzaghe, I could beat anyone. I could step up and beat Wladimir Klitschko if I wanted.

Listen,at the end of the day Wlad and his brother doesn't want any part of me,isn't it?

Top 15 right now, but I think he'll be top 10 before he's career is over. He just has to beat Chambers, Povetkin and Haye if he mans up and he'll have cleaned the HW division.

The divison is not good at all. Thats not Wlads fault and he can only fight whos there but it is a weak division.
No, actually Spray is right, neither you nor anyone can prove this is a "weak era", because it's just an opinion, and one that happens frequently when someone is dominating in any sport. I've gone through this discussion lots of times before.

When Schumacher was dominating, people said it was a weak era, because there were not other world champions that could beat him like they were in the Senna era. Well, how the ****do you want other people to become world champions when Schumacher is winning it all the time?

Same with Federer, when he was in his prime people said that his only real competition was Nadal, and it was a weak era, unlike the Sampras era when you had Agassi, Becker, Connors, etc...Well, how do you want other people to win slams when Federer is winning everything?

Boxers like Tony Tubbs, Buster Douglas, a prime Michael Moorer, prime David Tua, etc would wipe the floor with most of these guy's. Have you seen heavyweight fights these days? The Klitschko's, Povetkin, and Chambers are legit, but everyone else is fighting WAY below their potential, if they have any that is.
Yeah, David Tua certainly wiped the floor with Byrd, didn't he?

good point there, still I think most heavyweights from 90's, 80's, 70's, and some of the heavyweight in the 60's would beat today's heavyweights.

I mean if you compare the lower weights to the heavyweights, it's a joke. And fans that defend this era will say that boxing evolves and so do training techniques, but not the heavyweight division.
