Yeah we love boxing. But there are so many African-Americans to pick from.

At one time you had Winky, Mosley, Roy, Hopkins, and Floyd all making noise at the same time. Its hard to pick.

I think the problem is american has too many sports and stars to support, They have basketball, NFL etc and Am sure boxing isnt there number 1 sport so its difficult for most african american boxers to have a community following, Thats why Top ranks had trouble promoting Mayweather when he was with them, they didnt know which direction to point him until Al Haymon came along.

In boxing it pays to have tie to another country who love boxing because they way you would be able to generate potential fanbase from two different countries.

How at 34 you only follow one fioghter and never talk about fighters form the past. You are never in the history section and whenever someone makes a thread on past fighters you are never posting in them?

come on man...If one choses not to talk about older fights, that has nothing to do with them not knowing the history or not being a fan.

Some people just chose not to talk about it...bottom line. Hell I know about all of those older guys, but right now the current things going on in boxing is more interesting IMO....so I focus on that when posting.
