Since Pacquiao beat Cottos nuts out of Lampleys mouth, Lampley is on Pacs nuts now.

clottey did better then cotto because he has a little defense to him.

PAC does POOR against defensive fighters. that's not saying that clottey is better then cotto.
lol no man, pac does poorly against elite counter punchers. clottey doesn't fit that description though

and head, the eye was due to a clash of heads. no one mentioned it because it didn't affect anything

That's exactly what I am saying. Nothing came close to a 10-8 round last night, and it was a combination of Pacquiao just being better, and having a style tailor made for him. Clottey also never quit, he fought the whole 12, and actually turned it up in the 11th and 12th, even though he lost.

i believe the JMM who fought mayweather would give pac all sorts of problems. PAC fought with his hands down just like the "OLD" pac (nothing new at ALL) that would have been a countering fiasco for JJM

roach is a JOKE. what has he been doing with pacs defense through out all of these years, nothing?

But what bothers me is that Cotto acted like that cause he was physically hurt. He got beat the **** up.

Clottey didn't get beat up, he was never hurt. He wasn't getting hit cleanly, and he just never tried to step it up, he refused to try and change anything, refused to show any sense of urgency when he was losing round after round.

Cotto tried and couldn't sustain the pace. Clottey never tried. Or at least that's how I see it. Maybe I'm a little biased, but that's honestly how I see it.

If you don't believe me when I say you're the first one I've heard of who's admitted it then fine. What I think and what has actually happened could be two different things. I realize nobody is perfect. And the hardcore Cotto fans were anything but humble when his hype machine was out of control. Don't give me that bull****.
name me one unbeaten champ who's humble

was joe humble? is floyd humble?

in any case, cotto was the most humble of those, and while i wasn't here before the margo beating, i've seen cotto getting flamed excessively, ESPECIALLY by you

like you said, it's called HYPE. are pac fans humble now? hell no, but there are plenty of them that still are, and even if there were none, there's no point of turning into a filipino hater for that, is there?

I kind of seeing it like this. You walk up to someone punch them in the head, and they punch you back then you run away.
Or Clottey version, you walk up they punch you, you stand there taking punches hoping to get one in.

I don't think either is that great.

It makes me look at JMM as more of a warrior than both to be honest.

i think pac fought like that because he could afford to do so. why tighten your D when your opponent is scared and refuses to engage you? he did the best he could to look impressive

I know Cotto is humble to his credit, but his fans were anything but when someone earlier tried to say they were humble at the time he was undefeated.

no one mentioned his busted eye coming from a headbutt because the head butt was in the later rounds. pacs eye was swollin as early as the 6th round. the commentators said one or two things about it. i remember them saying

"you see PACS eye, it's swollin and red, clottey is landing some of those shots"

                      STOP THE LIES ALREADY.

clottey busted pacs face up because he was hitting him too easily and cleanly. that's what happens when you refuse to put your hands up. you get hit in the face.
