Since Pacquiao beat Cottos nuts out of Lampleys mouth, Lampley is on Pacs nuts now.

But yea I agree that's what bugged me....cause he had no excuse to not throw punches. He didn't look tired or hurt...he just looked weary from the get go.

The Foreman fight concerns me for Cotto, not gonna lie.
By the way Foreman does nothing for me, and I hope Cotto beats him, but 154 is too big for him, with guys like Martinez and Williams walking around.

Yea, I agree. He has no business at 154. Although, I think Cotto has more of a chance against Martinez than he does any of the other top guys at the weight. Just styles wise....Martinez would allow Cotto to dictate the pace, so that gives Cotto a chance.

But he's just gonna be blown up at 154, and I just don't think he's got it anymore.

I also could give a **** about what you guys think my opinion of Cotto is.
Let's leave their personal lives out of it. I'm discussing what happened in the ring. Both Clottey and Cotto did about the same amount of damage to Pac, which is very little. Clottey has a better defense than Cotto, yes, but he used it to hide, not to protect himself WILE ENGAGING in the fight.

I thought the Cotto fight was very exciting, as most others did. I actually fell asleep during the fight watching Pac just throwing punch after punch after punch, while Clottey remained in his "fortress".

Pac was very, very active as always, and relentless. But against what? He kept trying to find a hole to punch through the entire fight. Clottey did land a very few good punches, just like Cotto did. At least Cotto was fighting the 1st 4-5 rounds, and like I said, there was 1 point when i actually had hopes he might win. I never, once got that impression during the Clottey fight.

But then again, i knew Pac was going to win before they even fought. Pac is a phenomena. Pac has the killer instinct coupled with a sheer love of fighting. Clottey is a good boxer, but also an under-achiever that just doesn't have the motivation or hunger anymore. At least Cotto did at one time. Undefeated until his fight with Margo.

That's a dam good stretch of wins, however you feel about the guy, which is obvious and i know you don't care. We have different opinions and people can see the same thing very differently, so we just agree to disagree.

Hahahaha...Street, you got a point there. I had to laff at this, cuz there is some truth to it. Good post, Street. Pac makes everybody look bad.

Agreed. Just want someone to get rid of the bore that is Berto. If Quintana is still the same fighter that fought Williams he should be able to.

Yea, that's a fight I got my eye on. I agree that if Quintana is the same fighter that fought Williams he should win....I actually wouldn't even rule out a stoppage.

Quintana's got some pop. He never seriously hurt Paul, but he got Paul to respect him. And he definitely hurt Cotto a few times to the body.

He looked pretty bad in his last fight, it could have just been ring rust though.

Yea rust was definitely a factor....but I'm not too sure he can make 147 too comfortably, so that's also a concern for this fight.

You guys hate Berto so much that you'll give him absolutely no props for beating Quintana, but if he loses to him he was garbage. I think that's the best win on Cotto's resume because of the fashion he beat him in.
