No offense JAB, but Pacquiao had the power to put all this to rest, instead he opt to sue/ take on Clottey and leave alot of people wondering.
I was going to wait for you to answer, but I think ( I may be wrong) I know what you will say. Floyd is just trying to change boxing for the better, right? If that true why isn't he crusading to change ALL of boxing? Why not go to the commissions and sanctioning bodies?

So what are you saying my friend, by not giving in to Floyds slander and rule changes that this is his fault?

Mayweather may only be in it to assure his safety or maybe clean up the sport; we don't know. Maybe he's a little skeptical of Pacquiao and he has his reasons. But fact is, regardless of what Mayweather is in it for, he'd still be contributing to the cleanliness of Boxing. So only good comes out of this.

Lol, fair enough, I took a shot!

Only good comes out of this if it effects boxing as a whole. If its just a way to give another prima donna boxer what he wants when he wants, it really hasn't done anything but hold up or prevent a huge fight from happening. Im hoping it will effect boxing as a whole, but Im skeptical.

In the end yes, but they still went about it the wrong way big time. The route they took, the seeds they planted, all started with a direct pointed finger to a specific individual. We don't have to look far to see the effect it has had. Look at how many in here blatantly accuse Manny of being a cheater simply because of some actions and inactions, that may well have happened due to clashing egos.

But do you not think a compromise could have been reached had Floyd been more professional about this and not kept slandering Pac? Personally I do, but who knows now that this **** has been so twisted up?

In a sport full of dopers and cheats, you can't blame Floyd for simply requesting a fair shake. Floyd is not a psychic, and did not read Pac's mind and discover that he would turn down the fight if he had to give blood less than 24 days before a fight.
Get ****ing real.
The more drug testing the better. Now I don't think Pac is on anything at all, but if he's unwilling to agree to ANY drug test, he should get out of the sport before he tarnishes his legacy any further.Last edited by paulf; 03-16-2010, 12:05 AM.
