More than he was required to do.....to make the fight? No. To prove he's clean? No.

So what? To me it just looks like a very flimsy attempt at saving a bit of face.

I'm not really bothered about the whole fan wars thing, I try to avoid it as much as humanly possible. But there is still a right and wrong in this situation.

It may be enough for you but it's not enough to conclusively prove he's clean, so what the hell was the point of it? If he's so willing to give blood why not randomly too?

Oh come on. We all know that the state commissions play second fiddle to promotion companies, fighters and contract clauses. And like they would have done anything even if Mayweather did write them a polite letter or whatever it is you expect him to have done instead of trying to directly make sure his opponent was clean. They haven't the money nor motivation.

What we've gathered from you is that it's ok to lie and contradict yourself. You've mistaken no one for yourself when claiming "no one" cares about OST's when it's been proven that major promotors and commissions are looking to improve their testing policies. You've claimed Manny backed out of OSTs due to being slandered by FMJ, yet you yourself admitted Floyd never accused Pac of being on anything. Etc, etc, etc.

      You're done here.
Actually, these were the first words of the thread,

Very simple question. Why was NOBODY concerned before about OST until Floyd decided this was a deal breaker to fight Pac? No one was worried about it. No one was saying a word.

There weren't any posts, or threads here about OSTs prior to the allegations being made. There were very few, if any, rumblings about Manny doing anything illegal prior to the allegations being made.

Or did you not see the Marquez weigh in?
I think you're confusing Mayweather with Manny. It's team Manny that can't seem to get their story together.

You're referring to the weigh in where Floyd weighed in under the ww limit?

Pacquiao also didn't fight Cotto for the entire sport.

Lets remember what this is about,

          its about,

          "cleaning up the sport".

If one has any qualms about the regulations,

          you petition the commissions,

not just your own fights, especially when you say you're doing it for the betterment of the sport as a whole.

Money talks. Not who won "fighter of the decade". Mayweather not only put up bigger PPV numbers but also brings more money to the table than any other Pacquiao opponent. And Pacquiao initially agreed with the testing. He pulled out at the end of negotiations for something he knew about all along.

What makes you think Mayweather gives a **** about cleaning up the sport?

Yes, immediately. So he took a direct route rather than faffing about with the NSAC who are unlikely to do anything anyway.

Since when are state commissions in boxing these ubiquitous figures of authority? Every promoter and their grandmother has the power to go above them in contract negotiations if they so desire.

                **** outta here clown.

I'm not going to play this merry go round game with a moron like you.

You know what the contracted weight was, and you know there was a fine involved.

Whether or not you take me serious or not I could care less. You've proven you're an nonobjective hater.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You have twisted this thread to suit your agenda, that is clear. But how you can lay blame on someone who was willing to follow the rules and NEVER been caught cheating is beyond me.

Why cant people understand Im against all fighters making ridiculous demands? I was more against the 145 than I am for Floyd thinking he has authority he does not. Floyd has more right to ask for testing than Pac did to demand 145, but 2 wrongs dont make a right/
