More than he was required to do.....to make the fight? No. To prove he's clean? No.
So what? To me it just looks like a very flimsy attempt at saving a bit of face.
I'm not really bothered about the whole fan wars thing, I try to avoid it as much as humanly possible. But there is still a right and wrong in this situation.
It may be enough for you but it's not enough to conclusively prove he's clean, so what the hell was the point of it? If he's so willing to give blood why not randomly too?
Oh come on. We all know that the state commissions play second fiddle to promotion companies, fighters and contract clauses. And like they would have done anything even if Mayweather did write them a polite letter or whatever it is you expect him to have done instead of trying to directly make sure his opponent was clean. They haven't the money nor motivation.
