people usually wait at least a year or two before attempting to revise history...this is just funny

they ended up with a second contract because Floyd was not going to be able to honor the first contract....he was not gonna honor it because he was not gonna make the weight

i know, its complicated for some of you *****s but please, try your best to understand

the guy already spent 8-10 weeks in training camp.

then if he don't sign a new renegotiated contract , he doesn't get paid. not only that he has to go through another training camp and the same thing all over again after he finds another opponent.

that's not renegotiation. that's practically extortion.
Then Marquez should have asked for a bigger incentive, and give Mayweather the chance to walk away, instead he agreed, meaning he was fine with it. The commission was fine with it as well.

that was a **** move. they boxed him in.
the worse part is it was almost planned.

it was originally announced as 144 and then months leading up to the fight , floyd and his people wouldn't even acknowledge what weight it'll be at.

it's like they knew all along they weren't gonna make 144.

Mak are you dense? The whole point of this is Marquez and Cotto were both offered incentive money for weights they were not comfortable at.

he even had extra time to trim down when he postponed the fight from its original date...but 'Mr. Even Playing Field' didnt even bother trying

Was Pacquiao vs De La Hoya an even playing field? No, but much like Marquez it's Oscars fault for not knowing how poorly he'd perform at that weight.

Floyd is an unprofessional douchebag...."I want to clean the sport but I won't respect the contract which I signed to be 144"....yeah xylocaine boy that's how you want to treat your beloved sport.

                    ehhh..... you're reaching.

whatever makes you sleep better at nights.

having a guy who is currently fighting at 135 fight at a 144 catchweight is bad enough. not making the weight and changing the contract on him at the last minute is a even worse.

pacquiao last weighed in at 138 before cotto. cotto last weighed in at 146 before pacquiao.

if you think pacquiao making cotto going down 1 lb. while he goes up 7 lbs. is the same as making a guy go up 9 lbs. initially (12 lbs. eventually) while you yourself come in at whatever weight you want is the same thing......i don't know what's wrong with you.

He then signed for 147 ALONG WITH MARQUEZ.
