Shane has been at 135, 147 and 154. Call me when he wins a title at 160 and 168.
Don't be ridiculous, seriously. We are indeed comparing Mayweather and Mosley, and we know Mayweather was at super feather weight and junior welter weight. Mosley did not compete as those weights, and he is too small for 160 & 168. He couldn't even match the elite at 154, he did try though because he was still hungry.

Nothing was said of the possible outcome, although I do have my doubts towards Mayweather winning.

When I think of the word resume, I think about what has been accomplished, as in wins.

If we count losses as part of your resume, then wouldn't Jermain Taylor have the best resume of anyone?

If I go out and get my ass kicked by every fighter on the P4P list, does that mean I have a good resume? Even though I got my ass kicked?

I see people putting Floyd Mayweather on Marquez's resume as a positive point. In other words, because he fought Mayweather, his resume is somehow stronger, even though he was embarrassed.

I say your resume is what you've accomplished. Level of competition and record are completely different. What do you think?

you repeat the same thing over and over burner. you are like an autistic child.

the fact that those two names are on shane's resume and the circumstances in which they fought give shane additional ring experience, confidence (even though he lost he was not knocked out), show that he has huge balls, and therefore add to his abilities and overall skills and presence as a fighter. it's an area that floyd is sorely lacking because he only fights guys he is supposed to beat.

discussions progress burner, you just say the same thing over and over. you have no chance to ever win an argument. seriously, never ever. you come up with one thing and ignore eerything else, even statements and cases that are presented that completely refute what you are saying, but then you say it again and again. you are saying the same thing as the first page...."so who has a better resume calzaghe or augustus" duh?????? ***n duh?????? my god you are dumb.

So Floyd was suppose to beat Hernandez at 21 years old, Corralles at 130 and Castillo at 135? Really?

Wasnt he just in talks to fight Pac (Number 2 WW and P4P Number 1) and has signed to fight Shane (Number 1 WW and P4P number 3)? Like I said stop with the name calling on your on ignore. Im not getting into flame wars this year.

dans was trying to have a discussion and ask for advice burner, that's why he asked what do you think.

Just like with work, your resume includes all of your old jobs/experience- that's where you build up job skills, whether or not you were successful doesn't matter. If you had ever been to a real job interview or had interviewed people you would know that a frequently asked question or series of questions employers ask are in regards to past failures in life. what did you learn from them, what would you do differently the next time. if you are an intelligent human being, you learn from your mistakes and grow from there. same thing with fighting or anything else.

your wins are part of your record. your resume is your overall body of work.

In boxing its different. Like I said I will bump a million threads that asks "Better resume: Fighter A or Fighter B. No one EVER mentions the losses.

floyd has an excellent resume at 130-135. his resume since is average at best. shane has an excellent resume since about 1998-9, there are no breaks in it, so shane has a longer time at a world class level, thus enhancing his resume. i'm happy you are starting to figure this out.
