Golden Boy has managed to get Maidana to sell himself short and agree to NOT fight Khan for 3 fights or a year but let him keep the title. Maidana was the fight that should have happened but will never happen. The odds are Maidana will lose and there will be no fight.

I think Khan vs Campbell and Ortiz vs. Alvarado would be a more interesting card and they would save a good amount of money since Campbell won't be asking for Paulie money and Alvarado won't be asking for Campbell money. Win win imo and better fights.

If he gets in the ring with Malignaggi this will be Khan's best fight to date. No question about that.

Khan is an overhyped guy, this is the main reason not many British support him. HBO will have egg on their face if they hype this guy as much as the British media and then he gets beaten up silly by Paulie.

It's always dangerous when a young fighter gets fixated on money rather than opponents this early in his career, he's definatley been influenced by the Mayweather style on negotiating and seems to enjoy the flashy lifestyle.

If he carries on like this he will not be fighting legit challengers and he won't fufil he's potential, which would be a great shame.
