The FACT is that the INTENT to gain an unfair advantage was made. If you believe Floyd did nothing wrong, then you must be a HUGE fan of Margarito.
He was intending to fight with loaded gloves to gain an unfair advantage against Mosley. He was caught, so he didn't get the unfair advantage. But the intent was there.
Go ahead and spin this. It what you all do best anyway.
And someone using PED's isn't intending to gain an unfair advantage?

the poll should be:Floyd fans hail Floyd as a hero for trying to clean up the sport of boxing by imposing his own regulations on a man he suspects of being dirty because of his recent performances. This is boxing and in a sport that is life threatening, their is no place for anything that could cause an unfair advantage. Steroids have been around the sport of boxing and its effectiveness can be measured by the fighters who have been caught using them; Vargas, Toney, etc.
Weight advantage is also a dangerous advantage specially if you are fighting a man that does not even belong in the weight class he has already agreed on fighting his opponent in. Add on an opponent not coming in heavier than an already smaller opponent, it is just a recipe for an unfair disaster. We have seen the effects of what weight can do in the 2nd Castillo vs. Corrales fight.
Manny Pacquiao has never been proven to be a dirty fighter nor use PEDs. For the sake of argument though, what is a greater advantage, a dirtier tactic, coming in with a weight advantage or coming in roided?
O- roided midget
O- overweight + xylo

Damn! according to the poll this ******* had this thread backfire horribly.Floyd fans hail Floyd as a hero for trying to clean up the sport of boxing by imposing his own regulations on a man he suspects of being dirty because of his recent performances. You have to also remember even though you kind of quickly stated it. Vargas and Toney and any other boxer that had been caught had or have very successful careers and have beaten many more than they have lost against BUT there is no proof that they were using against all those guys they beat. So I guess they didnt use
against those guys.
