unfair advantage: steroids or coming in over the agreed limit against a smaller man?

Nope, I stopped after he failed to counter, which left me with no reason to reply. Its off topic anyways, so I'll stick to the main purpose of this topic and end the BS arguing. There's no point in trying to get anything through his head anyways.
On Topic: I think steroids would be a more unfair advantage. According to Pacquiao fans, two pounds don't make a difference (referring to the Cotto fight) so the same should apply to the Marquez fight. He would have dismantled him at 144. He would have dismantled him at 142. He would have dismantled him at 135. Heck, he would have dismantled a prime Marquez at 130 in my opinion.
Steroids on the other hand make you an entirely different fighter. You won't feel punches as much as a normal fighter would, your stamina increases very noticeably (without steroids, Mosley would have gotten dismantled by De La Hoya) and your power and speed increase too. If that isn't a huge advantage then I don't know what is. And again, according to Pac fans, 2lbs won't make a difference.
I mean just look at how badly Mosley's career declined after he stopped using steroids. He lost his next 3 big fights, and looked horrible in a few of his smaller ones.Last edited by BoxerDood; 02-07-2010, 10:31 PM.Comment

NO. I dont know why the **** you ******ed dumb ****s want to say xylocaine improves your performance.
Why do you think no one likes to wear Winning gloves in a competition? Because they can't feel ****. If you can't feel ****, you don't know if your putting enough power into your punches.
Example: Sit on your leg until it goes numb. Can you run better? Can you even walk? Nope.
That is the exact same thing with his numbed up fist. Hell thats probably why Floyd is feather fisted.Comment

are you kidding me?
why the hell would "2 pound difference" be applicable to Floyd-JMM? try to look THEIR DIVISION rather than their official weigh in
Floyd smoked JMM because he's an old bloated LIGHTWEIGHT, not a 2 pound difference but at least 12-15 pound advantageComment

Did you even read my post? I was saying that in a normal fight, 2lbs doesn't make a difference, especially in comparison to steroids. I was also saying that the outcome would have been the same, whether Floyd came in at 144 or 146. The part about Floyd beating Marquez at 130 or 135 was just a little extra (I tend to do that sometimes).Comment
