unfair advantage: steroids or coming in over the agreed limit against a smaller man?

Floyd fans hail Floyd as a hero for trying to clean up the sport of boxing by imposing his own regulations on a man he suspects of being dirty because of his recent performances. This is boxing and in a sport that is life threatening, their is no place for anything that could cause an unfair advantage. Steroids have been around the sport of boxing and its effectiveness can be measured by the fighters who have been caught using them; Vargas, Toney, etc.

Weight advantage is also a dangerous advantage specially if you are fighting a man that does not even belong in the weight class he has already agreed on fighting his opponent in. Add on an opponent not coming in heavier than an already smaller opponent, it is just a recipe for an unfair disaster. We have seen the effects of what weight can do in the 2nd Castillo vs. Corrales fight.

Manny Pacquiao has never been proven to be a dirty fighter nor use PEDs. For the sake of argument though, what is a greater advantage, a dirtier tactic, coming in with a weight advantage or coming in roided?

2 lbs wouldn't be so much against a guy that was fighting at that weight he was 2 lbs away from but against a guy that is several pounds already removed from his natural weight, 2 lbs is adding insult to injury.

              steroids...

simply b/c the opponent doesn't find out till you're caught.

the weight thing, the opponent has a choice whether or not to pull out of the fight.

according to GBP, the mayweather-marquez fight was ALWAYS contracted as a WW fight. floyd agreed to a catchweight of 144, but since all that **** was in the contract from the beginning, he was allowed to pay the fines and the fight went on.

the next question should be: what's more of an "unfair" advantage?

              1) steroids

              2) coming in overweight

              3) draining your opponent

Didnt the great JMM show up to fight Floyd knowing he was 2 pounds over a catchweight after being out for almost 2 years? These haters argument would have more legitimacy if JMM had called the fight off. But he didn't. e still willingly showed up to fight so obviously he wasn't as concerned about it as the Author of this thread is so what does that tell you?
