Honestly, this is a fight that really catapults floyd and mosley into the stratosphere in terms of importance to this sport and to the mainstream.
      Very true...

But, lets say Floyd wins and win dominant fashion... There is no guarantee rematch... Floyd might give him a rematch... but, there is no guarantee and who would want to see a rematch do fight that was so easily decided... And, lets say Pac-Margarito does happen... where does Floyd go for the rest of the year? I guess Cintron, Bradley, Spinks is what I assume...

But, what if Shane wins? Then while you Pac-Margarito are fighting, Shane-Floyd can fight again and the rematch might be an even bigger event then what it is now. And if Floyd win and Pac win you can make Floyd-Pac and it will still be pretty big event... And, that would put Golden boy in 3 huge events in a row... I am kind of leaning towards Golden boy benefiting more if Shane wins... I just want no funny business. If Floyd is the clear winner I want him to get a fair shake and get the decision... But, Golden boy has so many questionable decisions that I just don't trust them... I really hope this rematch clause don't bite him in the ass... Where he might get screwed just so Golden boy can make money off of him...

      • People are more concerned about the rematch clause than the fight itself. It's no big deal, fighters ask for rematch clauses, it's normal.

They put it there so he has a chance to avenge his loss right away if he loses and probably for the other reasons stated earlier.

Not a big deal. Is there shame in respecting for Shane Mosleys fight game or something?
It's interesting to me because it could tell me something about Mayweather's mindset about the fight.

          • LOL, at all the clowns hating on this fight already. I'm not the biggest Mayweather fan, but this fight proves he's willing to fight the top level people in the divsion. Props to Shane too for not being a pathetic little ***** when it comes to the random blood tests.

                Yes, he is.
It's not that unusual-recently,Roy Jones as a challenger to Danny Green had a rematch clause...

Apparently there was, didn't know that. But it's still the exception rather than the norm. It's more interesting to me because it could just indicate something about Mayweather's mindset heading into the fight.
