Then why won't Hopkins fight him now when Toney is calling him out and going after a glass jawed RJJ instead? Toney might be shot, but at least he probably still has an ability to take a punch.Comment

I really don't know how that would have planed out but I do know that this would have been a ****in great throw back kind of fight... neither wins easy IMO...
Both had great chins...
Toney has unbelievable gifts as a fighter...
Hopkins is one of the smartest fighters ever...
Both guys make you look bad even if you beat them...
Both ain't take **** in a fight... this would have been awesome...
I simply go **** here and call it a draw
In their prime both were bad mutha'sComment

Im talking about handspeed, its hard to counter someone with fast hands, I have to lol as well, your focusing on the scores of the Taylor fights instead of the points I was talking about.LOL Hopkins won BOTH Taylor fights in my opinion and in others too. The 2nd fight was his. and the 1st fight was close but he won that one too.
Can you tell me that Taylor gave Hopkins SERIOUS trouble in the fight? He caught Hopkins maybe like 5-10 flush times in both fights Together. Hopkins fought to Cautious in the opening rounds. But in each fight he TORE UP Taylor in the CHampionship rounds.Comment

In what fights did Hopkins show excellent inside game? You all forget that Hopkins also has excellent inside-game. The guy knows his basics well, what many great boxers don't even show.
So not only can he work from the outside on Toney, but he'll be fine inside as well, especially with the angles on his foot pivoting fluidized with the well timed uppercuts.Comment
