Pacquiao PEDs discussion.

Some people are just gullible.PEDs won't give you boxing skills.
PEDs won't teach you to punch using both hands.
PEDs won't teach you how to move in and out to avoid getting punched.
You guys are saying that Pacquiao seems to be knocking down opponents at higher weights and taking in their best shots but we've seen that trait before, why didn't we question Henry Armstrong before? Why didn't we question other fighters who has achieved much as well?
Why are you guys not questioning Oscar? Mayweather? Who has ventured and gained so much weight by moving in and out of divisions as well?
Furthermore, another explanation I could give on the issue Pacquiao gaining more power and explosiveness is him not being dehydrated anymore.
Most guys know all those stuff stated above. The thing you guys are arguing for right now is that Pacquiao gets an edge in getting to train harder but don't you guys realize that Pacquiao has always been a monster in training? Ever ****ing, since? And the reason he could seem to be looking better and better in training is that because he's getting to eat all the food he wants to eat and not dehydrate himself anymore??
Imagine Pacquiao dehydrating himself just so he could weigh in @ 135. He has always been trying to lose 9pounds plus. At fight night he would always usually weigh in at 144+ so what's the point?
They say he takes PEDs to train harder. I say common sense tells you that eating more > dehydrating yourself to make weight will give you more energy to train harder. 9000 calories to burn everyone?
I don't know. Just my two cents. I'm not saying I'm correct and all that.
Great post

A great read on Manny being a top male. A diva, a person with so much pride that he won't let Floyd impose his will on him.
It's not likable at all but it is what it is.Before one sparring session last month, members of the entourage arrived early, fetched towels, cleared the gym and debated what type of Gatorade their employer would prefer, finally settling on orange. When word came that Pacquiao was sleeping, that he might not practice, they waited, dozens of lives affected by the whimsical decisions of one man.
Team Pacquiao has perfected the art of functional ***********. The entourage consists of trainers, assistants to the trainers, advisers, assistants to the advisers, cooks, dishwashers, car washers, drivers, publicists, gofers and security.
Its size varies, as do assignments and sleeping arrangements, members shuffling from bunk beds to twin beds to the foot of the most important bed. Usually, at least 20 aid in Pacquiao’s routines.
“I see new guys every day,” said Joe Ramos, an assistant. “Guys who I don’t even know who they are, or what they do.”
Pacquiao craves companionship, seeking comfort in numbers. He said he likes good company, which explains why he sleeps in the condo while the sprawling house he owns nearby sits mostly empty, leaves in the pool, ants in the kitchen.
Confidants believe this stems from his childhood, when he grew up so poor in the Philippines that his younger brother, Bobby, described each day as “survival mode.” The path to reclaimed youth includes all of the activities Pacquiao missed, like darts, billiards, basketball and marathon karaoke sessions.
Pacquiao tolerates little disrespect based on placement in his hierarchy, another policy produced by his upbringing.
He once sold doughnuts on the street. So when Ramos suggested they find less expensive alternatives for washing his car, noting that Pacquiao paid a man at Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, where he trains, $200 three times a week, Pacquiao warned Ramos never to eliminate the job of someone trying to earn a living.
This leads to tasks that overlap, filled by people who perform the same function. Or people who perform essentially no function.
“There’s a lot going on,” said Rob Peters, the head of the security detail. “You have to know who everybody is, what they do. It’s almost like I need a chart.”
The entourage compares itself to a large family, but the daily competition for Pacquiao’s affection and power makes this brood competitive and intense. Winners receive perks, like riding in the car with Pacquiao, or sitting next to him while he eats.
They say they must fight to prove themselves, and while they do not mean this literally, sometimes fisticuffs occur. Recently in the Philippines, two members of Team Pacquiao, the adviser Michael Koncz and the conditioning coach Alex Ariza, came to blows over the coveted corner slots for Saturday’s bout.
People worship him as some kind of God.Comment

you might be correct physically but not physiologically..it might be physiological to him...so how do we know? No. That's bull**** and I'm not giving him ****. TWO WEEKS is "so near" a fight?
It makes no sense. Giving a teaspoon of blood has ZERO effect on your body. ZERO.
You guys claim that the reason Pac was able to take Miguel's punches was because he was mentally strong. Now you claim he is mentally weak and faints at the sight of blood.
Which is it?
He was terribly hurt by Miguel's punches..he was just pretending that he was not hurt..that's what he said upon arrival in the PI.
Mentally weak at the sight of blood..you might be mentally strong in one thing and terribly weak on another...Comment

Because there is already an interview about Pacquiao in 2005 that the testing with injection has caused him to be not at a 100% mental state.
This testing is bogus, you wanna know why?
Mr. Schaeffer when he handled Mosley before and his opponent demand test as well considering that Mosley admitted he used PED, the demand was legit but the hypocrite Schaeffer said that they will only adhere to NSAC.
Now Pac's camp are also saying no to the demand but the difference is that he was never caught or admitted using PED in his previous fights. Now who do you think has more right to say no on this one, Mosley or Pac?
Which comes us to the question of, how sincere was the demand? Is it really for the good of the sport?
They only need to petition it with NSAC but no they keep on insisting it their own way which to some extent Pacman's camp agreed just to make the fight happen but Floyd's camp think they are above the sport and now most boxing experts and fans put the blame on them.
Just look at Floyd's camp now desperately finding a decent fighter to match the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight. Coz if Pac vs Clottey will be successful in Dallas especially at that big venue and in PPV buys. Pacman's camp has more leverage in asking demands if Floyd vs Pacman will happen later this year.Comment

for the good of the sport...this is their premise...For God's sake GBP, start with Mosley-Berto if it's for real!!!!!Because there is already an interview about Pacquiao in 2005 that the testing with injection has caused him to be not at a 100% mental state.

You guys keep bringing up ancient fights as if they have any relevance to what is going on today.PEDs won't give you boxing skills.

Back in the Henry Armstrong days, drug testing was not even an issue.
If anyone in those days questioned the ability of any of those fighters due to performance enhancement use, they likely did it in private and didn't bring it to light the way the drug testing issue is given so much attention to in these present days.
As for why nobody questioned Oscar for his past performances, that's because nobody brought up the issue then. Ironically, one of his opponents was caught cheating, as have other boxers who cheated the game and were caught.
Those who accuse Manny of being on or using PED's are expressing their own opinions why they feel he may be based on the information disseminated in the media and spread all across the internet.
If no other athlete had ever been caught using PED's and cheating the system BEFORE the Pac-May fight was even being considered, then I think the majority would agree that it would be unfair to accuse anybody of drug use.
The simple fact that drug use was prevalent before and is still prevalent to this day gives people the reason to believe that drug use by some of today's athletes is a very strong possibility by today's standards.
Is it right to straight out accuse him of using PED's? Not in my opinion, unless you have sufficient evidence beyond a reasonable doubt to prove your case. Does anyone have the right to suspect he might be on something? Yes, everyone has that right based on their perception of the information they're being fed. Still, su****ion of wrongdoing is not sufficient to prove its validity.
Today, all boxers must undergo drug testing, not because they have been accused of any wrongdoing or are suspect of any wrongdoing, but because
the possibility of drug use is a reality and the best way to maintain the fairness and integrity of the sport is to mandate that all boxers submit to drug testing.
Let's not forget why the drug testing issue got out of hand in the first place. Floyd Sr.'s statements were at first being brushed off as some blabber from an ill informed trainer who many fans disliked in the first place. Just about every fan who didn't agree with him felt his comments were worthless because he couldn't prove it.
Lets not kid ourselves. We all know the reason the issue was blown out of proportion was due to the way Arum handled the negotiations, particularly
when bring up excuses as to why Manny couldn't adhere to the testing in the first place. The number of excuses from Team Pacquiao outweighed the acceptance and willingness to comply from Team Mayweather to submit to the exact same drug testing protocols that Manny would undergo.
Let's get it straight. The ridiculous excuses from Team Pacquiao via Arum's public statements and others are what raised the su****ion of the majority of the public fans and non-fans of the sport alike.
The excuses made during, not before, the negotiations are what raised all the questions which in turn prompted Team Pacquiao to file a lawsuit.Comment

All I was implying is that it is possible. So why are people making it seem impossible to venture in different weights and be successful.
I'm showing them that yes, you can.
Exactly my point. I never said anyone should be devoid of their opinion. I was merely stating mine and if you read the thread thoroughly. I tell them that my first post were not FACTS but my opinions. Nonethless, the issue here is that people seem to be claiming that Pacquiao IS USING PEDs while it has not rightfully proven so.As for why nobody questioned Oscar for his past performances, that's because nobody brought up the issue then. Ironically, one of his opponents was caught cheating, as have other boxers who cheated the game and were caught.
Those who accuse Manny of being on or using PED's are expressing their own opinions why they feel he may be based on the information disseminated in the media and spread all across the internet.
They are so taken up by the illusion created to them by the Mayweathers and the media. All I'm trying to say them are choices, point of views, of my OPINIONS, not stated facts.
It's an entirely different story. If NSAC would ask pacquiao to do random drug testing, and Pacquiao disagrees, then it's a more legitimate case.If no other athlete had ever been caught using PED's and cheating the system BEFORE the Pac-May fight was even being considered, then I think the majority would agree that it would be unfair to accuse anybody of drug use.
The simple fact that drug use was prevalent before and is still prevalent to this day gives people the reason to believe that drug use by some of today's athletes is a very strong possibility by today's standards.
On this scenario though, Mayweather was obviously trying to impose his will on Pacquiao and we can also say that Pacquiao was imposing himself on Mayweather. No compromsie agreed on thus failure of the fight to materialize.
Exactly what I was saying. No man is guilty unless otherwise proven.
They are undergoing state commission standard testing. I agree that they should be issued much strict tests though but it should be issued by the commissioner of the sports and not by a fighter. It neutralizes agendas which obviously both sides have.Today, all boxers must undergo drug testing, not because they have been accused of any wrongdoing or are suspect of any wrongdoing, but because
the possibility of drug use is a reality and the best way to maintain the fairness and integrity of the sport is to mandate that all boxers submit to drug testing.
I definitely agree with you on this one. I, however, can't believe how gullible people have been throughout this whole endeavor.Let's not forget why the drug testing issue got out of hand in the first place. Floyd Sr.'s statements were at first being brushed off as some blabber from an ill informed trainer who many fans disliked in the first place. I agree with you that this should be made mandatory on all fighters. My only take is that this should not be asked by a fighter from his opponent but should be mandated by the governing body. Under the circumstances, i do not expect PAC to submit himself to a kind of test that was requested by no other than the people who are accusing him of using PEDS ahead of time. It's like saying "fight me, but prove me wrong"..BTW, why is it that Floyd's Team did not attempt to go to the proper authority to air this request for random blood testing to make it mandatory to all fighters?Comment
