It is a bit dodge especially when you consider in his last fight, he signed signed Marquez the day before Manny won, why do that.

Now, not only has he not fought Mosley or Manny when he could have, he's not even talking about Mosley much, and Shane is so desperate he'd probably fight in late April. So Floyd probably wouldn't even have to wait much imo.

    It's a bit fishy.

Only thing that would probably be a concern is the fact that his fighters doesn't have the rabid following the way Puerto Rican or Mexican fighters have. So while it would be a compelling match-up to pit his fighters against each other, it would make more sense financially to match them against Margarito, Cotto, Cintron, or Pacquiao... but still, IMO it's a bit unethical to stunt the growth of fighters like Williams and Berto just because you want to shield Mayweather from fighters that would likely beat him.

i don't know where to begin in your post......

first of all, when dude announced he was returning, and instructed his team to field all offers,

SHANE MOSLEY offered him 8 million for a fight......he signed to fight marquez for a guaranteed 15 MILLION.....

to your first point, i guess about him, "not waiting for pacquiao,"

well we see how it turned out when they tried to make the fight, so coming off a 2-year layoff, dude had no obligation to "wait" for pacquiao to fight, before he looked for an opponent......

I dont see how people can get upset at this. Ive said it a million times and Ill say it again. Dude has had 1 fight in 2 and a half years or 2 fights in 3 years. If this was any other fighter we wouldnt even be questioning it. Floyd's name has just popped so much even in retirment that people think he's been around the whole time when really he has not only been inactive but super inactive. I mean Margarito has been gone less than half the time and he's fighting Carson Jones but no one cares.

There is no way that Floyd should wait. Lets say Mosley kills Berto. I would be worried for Floyd being that inactive and then only fighting JMM and going straight to him. Floyd is good but he's not superman. Maybe he himself doesnt even believe that he's quite ready. Maybe he felt a little sluggish in his last performance and wants one more fight before talking on a super physical strong WW. I dont think there is anything wrong with that. I dont see the big deal anyways. He can still fight Mosley in July. People act like this means no Mosley fight at all. I dont get it. Some say why wait until April but he didnt want to wait. He has to move back because HBO doesnt want him & Pac fighting around the same time

                  So wait,

Shane, who fights under GBP, was offered to Floyd for 8 million,

while Marquez, who also fights under GBP, was offered to Floyd for 15?

Do you have any proof of this?

Or could it be, that there was only so much money allotted for the fight and that Marquez was willing to take substantially less?

Lets be real and keep things in perspective. Oh nevermind,

I'm dealing with a Floyd stan.

Being real, logical and in perspective are qualities that evade all of you ****s.

Nobody told him to take time off so he wouldn't have to face Margarito or Cotto.

Quit making excuses for this chump.

He could sign to fight Rafeal Marquez on March 13th and you'd find a way to justify it.

My point is always this. Who cares about the March 13th fight. Thats what angle Im always coming from. If its a big fight then great but if its not then its obviously just a tuneup for the Mosley fight. I just dont get how everyone keeps acting like this is his major fight or something. Its weird how people are talking like that. Then they also act like its either Mosley or this fight, like he cant fight both. What are people talking about? He's fighting whoever and then he's fighting Mosley. The **** is black & white to me as long as Shane wins
