Logical explination as to why Floyd doesn't wait for Mosley/Berto winner??

I'm trying to figure it out in my head, from Floyd's point of view. Why would he fight a nate campbell, timothy bradley, cintron and the likes in APRIL, and not just wait a couple weeks for the Mosley/Berto and fight the winner?

If it's Mosley, he would make A LOT MORE MONEY, since people have wanted to see floyd vs shane for well over 5 years.

I would imagine if floyd fights shane, his PPV numbers would outsell pacquiao vs clottey.....easily. Plus, it would enhance his legacy tremendously.

If Berto wins, and Floyd fights him, the PPV numbers might not be quite as good, but he would be taking on the man that just beat Shane Mosley. It would undoubtedly sell just as well as Floyd vs Nate Campbell/Bradley/etc.

He needs to fight now because he needs to get big numbers and dominate his opponent in order to compete with pac for the Mosley-Berto winner.

    He cant sit around.

He's scared to fight a real welterweight that isn't shot? That's the only logical explanation whatsoever. If he wasn't scared, he could fight Williams EASILY.

But he wouldn't be fighting now, he would be fighting in April. He can wait two weeks and still fight Berto or Shane Mosley in April....

He doesn't want to risk losing, in general, but especially before the mega showdown with Pac.

Staying busy would be fighting sooner than april though, wouldn't it?

No gurantees that Berto doesnt win it....Hes managed by Floyds manager.

By fighting in April Floyd has his choice....he can fight Pac or Mosley if he wins.

That could be true, but if he fought Mosley and kicked pacquiao's ass as far as PPV sales go, he would have so much more leverage, he could even demand 60/40 split at that point...
