The simple reason is he don't want to fight the winner.

If it's Mosley, he would make A LOT MORE MONEY, since people have wanted to see floyd vs shane for well over 5 years.

I would imagine if floyd fights shane, his PPV numbers would outsell pacquiao vs clottey.....easily. Plus, it would enhance his legacy tremendously.

If Berto wins, and Floyd fights him, the PPV numbers might not be quite as good, but he would be taking on the man that just beat Shane Mosley. It would undoubtedly sell just as well as Floyd vs Nate Campbell/Bradley/etc.
Bastard. I came into the thread thinking you had a logical explanation.

No logical explanation at all, If he's going to fight in April then the Mosley fight cant happen in May. I still want to know whats going on because it doesnt look for for Mayweather at the moment, At least wait till the end of the month and see who wins.

Williams vs. Floyd/Berto or any of the combination NEVER happens.

Because Mosley will win against Berto and Mosley would not submit himself to the "mayweather bloodtest protocol" either. No use Floyd waiting for the winner of that fight, Pacman and Mosley would get it on and unify the WW division.

if floyd doesn't have to fight march 13, just wait for berto-mosley bout and fight the winner in early may..even april i'm pretty sure mosley wouldn't mind

Maybe Floyd is still looking forward to fight Pac later this year and if he loses...He loses his 50/50 with Pac...he is very protective of that '0'...
Either that or Floyd is like what alot of people say...***** who ducks worthy opponents
