I'm a huge fan of Floyd but if he doesnt fight a guy who is some kind of threat I will have to jump on the Floyd Hater Bus. There is a lot of guys who could be a good fight, I gave him the benefit of fighting Marquez, but no way I support another BS fight like that.

Do you have any proof of this?

Or could it be, that there was only so much money allotted for the fight and that Marquez was willing to take substantially less?

Lets be real and keep things in perspective. Oh nevermind,

I'm dealing with a Floyd stan.

Being real, logical and in perspective are qualities that evade all of you ****s.
IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO BOXING, and take off your nuthugging goggles,

you would've KNOWN, when floyd told ellerbe to start taking offers, shane offered him 8 MILLION.......we all laughed....

when floyd announced he was fighting marquez, all you *******s, cotto stans, margatards, etc...... wanted to know how much he was getting paid for that fight, thinking it was LESS than 8 million, and that he was ducking shane.......

an article came out, and announced he had a 15 MILLION dollar guarantee for marquez, and you all shut the **** up....

both articles were posted on this site, if you were a REAL boxing fan, and didn't just come around when your favorite fighter was about to fight, you would have seen and read the articles.....i'm not one of you dudes, that come on here and post ficticious information, to make one fight look better than the other. i post facts, or ask logical questions.....but i AM NOT gonna go back, and do your dirty work for you.....check the articles on this site from MARCH '09 on, and you'll see what i'm talking about.

next time, try paying attention to the sport, and stop nuthugging so much, before you come on here and try to argue with me.....posters like you, who know not, what the **** they are talking about, make NSB less and less enjoyable.....

      boy.

He's not any younger and he's only had one fight in like two years. But I don't see the harm in waiting an extra 3 or 4 weeks for the Berto/Mosley winner. All the available fighters (Hatton, Bradley, Paulie, etc.) won't compete well against Pac/Clottey numbers if they went head to head on the same night. So if Floyd waited about a month, he would have a way better dance partner in Mosley (hopefully he wins) or Berto.

lol yeah right. and besides, there's a good chance Mosley shows his age in that fight. here's the 8th round vs Margarito who's a much slower fighter than Berto is at this point. Watch how good shane looks until he lands that left hand that definitely changed the fight. Margarito was known for many things but laser accuracy wasn't one of them. Mosley is showing his years in this fight until that left hand. mosley starts showing a good jab but look for margarito landing the right hand and mosley holding as part of his gameplan.

Its weird how people are talking like that. Then they also act like its either Mosley or this fight, like he cant fight both. What are people talking about? He's fighting whoever and then he's fighting Mosley. The **** is black & white to me as long as Shane wins

lmao, how many damn tuneups does this guy need?

double lmao, when was the last time he fought a top welter?

Now, all of a sudden, hes going to fight two?

You lames kill me with your stories.

              boy.

lol at this hurt little *****.

Kid, I attend fights, live and have been for over 25 years.

What I don't do is pay attention to the money aspects,

              because thats not boxing.

I only care about two things,

the fight happening and the result.

Everything else is pointless. If a fighter really wants to get it on with someone,

              the fight gets made.
