Suddenly Pavlik starts regaining his health and Paul wants back to 147 where it will be next to impossible for him to land a big fight?

I also think it was his team who pressured the sanctioning bodies into Making Pavlik fight before the end of December as Mandatory Defenses are usually only forced for once a year.

This traveling routine of playing your hand at different weight classes has failed in the past and will fail now. I think his team feel he got his bell rung a little too much against martinez and want to travel down again. Something ain't right.
      Totally Agree!!

And lol at the "people forget that Williams is a Natural WW"

I think he can still make 147. He's weighed in at 157 each of his last two middleweight fights and he said he ate breakfast the morning of the Wright fight.

Dude what are you talking about? By your silly line of thinking, what would be the point in ever having a rematch? That was a great fight and a lot of people (including me) feel that Martinez kicked his ass and deserves a second fight. And you are WRONG. Boxing fans are the true and final judges of the sport. We are the reason why rematches are necessary.

Nobody wants it with him at 147. He thinks its hard to find opponents at 154 so he's going down to 147 where it'll be even harder to find cats willing to fight him?

paul needs to stay the hell away from ww!!

I have always stated that P.Williams is over rated. Even with his size and all the physical gifts like reach and height he still appears to be averge in my book. He lacks a boxing IQ. Sure he throws alot of punches but 60% of them are not effective, he misses way to much. He throws 8 just to land 1. He gets tagged on the chin way to much also. I believe he will no longer have a problem finding work at 147. He has now been exposed twice by fighters with simular styles. Movement and counter punching. Somthing that all the top ww's are good at. Paul does not use his reach or height, which makes him a big easy target. If he returns to WW look for him to be KO'd soon after.

Williams got his ass handed to him by Martinez. Just compare their faces after the fight. Also, Williams ran to the hospital right after the fight and didn't show up to the post fight presser. Now he wants to go back down to 147 since he felt the pop of a bigger man. Is that what the "most feared" man does? Those 100+ punches per round got exposed by a real counter-puncher (which is the type of opponent he should never face again).
