Now this is bull****.come on Roy,there is something called dignity.

Roy has always found a way to combat the notion that he could leave the sport of boxing with true pride in a fine career. He blew the Hopkins fight and there is no way to "fix" that. Therefore, he attempts to create a scandal and in doing so, denies the victor, Danny Green, a well deserved win and effort. Shame on you Roy. Where is the grace true ex champions once posessed?

why complain now when you should have know before the fight if the wrap is legal. there is a rule that representative from each camp signs the wraps in approval before the fight. what a joke!!!! they haven't learned from the margarito fiasco ....tsktsk. Roy Jones pls. move on .....

Nah, it was a legit loss until proven otherwise. Roy is just having a hard time accepting that he is done and getting older. I would say that he should rematch him at home but have alot of fond memories of Roy clowning chumps and don't want to see him get hurt.

Okay, a DQ and looking like a puss is okay but what about the losing near 4 million he stood to make with the fight? Roy preserved the fight and went ahead with it thinking he would win anyways and would have peobably never mentioned it again. It kinda makes sense now that Danny Green somehow predicted that if he his Roy with 'the right punch' , he was going to sleep. In hindsight it probably didn't seemed like the right thing for Roy to do , but being one of the most confident fighters of the last geberation, I'm sure his pride helped him through those ropes.

And about not mentioning it while in country, are you all fu.cking ******? Roy would have either ruined the rest of his stay or put his family and everyone in his crew at jeopardy with that mess. Not only that, it would have been very disrespectful.
