Fact is, he needs to retire.

what are you guys on man? seriously you expect Roy to say something while he's still over there? let alone in the ****ing ring inside the arena? they made it pretty clear they didn't respect him too much, threatening to Disqualify him if he didn't fight? 20,000 foreign fans screaming his name and he wanted to impress but he already knew what Pink did and had but how you expect him to be vocal like that?

they not gonna give a **** about what happens to him yo they probably was treating him ****ty the whole time and probably put him in a ****ty dressing room, they wasn't showing this legend no respect, they actually ALLOWED both of Danny Pink's cast to harden entirely before the fight. Roy's hands was tied in a way, he's all the way out there for a fight and he's not gonna fight? I respect his heart more than I reject him, he's a brave man yo would YOU have had the balls to do that? we know it ain't smart but would you do it? didn't think so..

he wasn't even completely out man, Calzaghe and Johnson beat him much worse. that shot wasn't even **** man he just had a ****ing cast on, what don't you get? 2 hours passed yo that **** was hardened after just the 1st hour, this guy had 2 casts underneath each of his Boxing gloves. Pink couldn't even KO Mundine and he's going to do that to Roy Jones Jr on a shot that barely even landed? **** outta here son don't play my boy Roy Jones Jr like that man he paid his dues

lol...nothing's gonna change...in the first round he's still gonna keep backing back with his arms wide open like its 1999, and green's slow ass is still gonna nail him and put him on his back...., then a couple of days later, jones is gonna say he lost because he didn't want his chickens to get all the credit if he won....same garbage....

there's no doubt that roy can fight...but the point is...his time is passed....this was a c fighter, who was supposed to be a tuneup for hopkins...none of what you said explains how he let a slow cruiserweight nail him with his first shot....loaded gloves thats irrelevant because back in the day, a c fighter doesn't lay a glove on him....

No holyfield needs to retire. He should of won his last fight and could of retired with a belt.

Jones can do as he wishes. That "TKO" loss was not life threatening. I dont see him in harm as long as he doesnt fight Dawson or a HW, I see no harm.

I see Green going for a rematch if Hop wont give him the fight. Jones has nothing to prove but he is still able to fight if he wishes. Just as long as the heart and will is there.

i can speak for myself and for the record, i would take the disqualification, tell them they can keep the 4 mil and get the f**k outta there...why? i'm ****ed either way because i have a cement gloved cruiserweight whose looking to use me as a stepping stone to stardom, and i have a stadium full of fans who don't give a **** about me either....

i dont know about this i think jones just needs to hang them up...but then again the punch that started the touble for jones didnt seem to be anything spectacular it almost seemed like it was a glancing blow...the stoppage itself seemed almost like it was premature but if jones really wants a rematch then i say do the green fight again and retire after that if you lose...but if he were to win they could have a third fight to determine who is actually the better of the two at this stage.

If you can get away with it-even amateur.
Many years ago, when I began my [amateur] career, I debut'd on an interclub programme. I won pretty well against their candidate for league honours that year.

We had a return Tournament a month later, and this time I lost, but found that I had fought a 25 year old man [I was 15] with many years of experience. He was with an assumed name.

As it chanced, I won my next 58 in a row, with which, actually, I'm somewhat pleased.
