The fact is that Danny has worn that same wrap and the brown material that secures the wrap/glove against many if not all of his opponents. He wore the same thing against Mundine. Danny has also used that same wrap and material to hold the wrap in place against his last fight agaisnt Julio Cesar Dominguez, this fight was held in AMERICA. It was also inspected and passed by the boxing regulatory body in America.

Green doesnt seem to be hiding this fact or even aware of it. Both the bodies regulating boxing in America and Australia also seems to have passed it without much issues.

Everything indicates that Roy Jones Jr just cant accept his loss. He needs to move on now.

If you read the damn letter you would see that Jones was forbidden to check Green's handwraps before the fight and if he didn't fight he would be DQ'ed. Jones had no choice. He fought Green not knowing what he had in his handwraps but he took a chance because he had no choice, he would have lost the fight without even fighting and then look like a ***** in the media(in BS standards) for pulling out of a fight because he was denied of seeing his opponents handwraps.

Well luckily he's a grown ass man that can make his own decisions. And nothing that happens at this point can take away from what has already been accomplished.

he should keep working on the case and retire. he's done more than enough in boxing, and while i agree in your point about his legacy not being affected, his body is definitely getting hurt badly at this stage of his career

Also Danny Green was never a huge puncher, and Roy has faced better punches and never has been laid out from a glancing shot in the first ****ing round. It took Tarver the best and flushest punch of his career in his three fights with Roy to stop him, and it took Johnson 9 rounds of administering brutal punishment to stop Roy, and this clown lands a grazing shot which wasn't even full force and drops Roy even though he was never known t be a one punch knockout artist? Also, on top of that he says no comment when asked about it?

While I don't know enough about the situation in general, these comments are ******. Green's biggest asset was his power and he was, throughout his whole career in the divisions he was in, considered one of the hardest punchers in them. He made his name as a KO artist with single shot KO power.

He was a big guy in general and always possessed huge power especially in his right hand. To be honest, I don't really understand this? He got hit right behind the ear by a very big puncher. He was more likely to knock you out with one single punch than either Johnson or Tarver if he landed flush, but, the issue here is that it landed right behind the ear and Jones has shown his bad spot is not his chin but his temple area, which includes behind the ear. It means when you get hit, you lose all equilibrium and can't get your balance, which is exactly what happened.

Until something else comes up that shows that Green pulled a shifty move, to me it was a perfectly legitimate KO. I don't see anything at all suss about the shot. It hit him behind the ear, knocked him down, he got back up, then didn't throw again after about fifty unanswered punches. The ref can't just let it go on indefinitely.

RJ seems to have a point here, but unless Danny Green had a crowbar under his gloves it doesn't change that Roy was KOed in the first. Still messed up how corrupted this whole situation sounds.

YES, no one wants cheating and RJJ should have complained during the fight. Australia isnt a dangerous country and have hosted some of the biggest and best events in sports. If RJJ is worried about any organised crime, someone should have told him that Australia's organised crime isnt very organised and are more interested in offing each other.



I have absolutely no doubt that Roy Jones Jr was treated allot better than Danny Green. He would have been driven around in a limo, stayed in the best and most exclusive Hotels and pampered like a King. Australians are typically not the showoff types like the Americans.

Most people went for Roy Jones Jr to win this fight, I went for Danny Green. Why? because I kned that RJJ likes to showboat and keep his hands low, I also know that Danny has a hard punch and will most likely see an opening and land one good one.

all due respect I read your WHOLE post and even the link it has nothing to do with him cheating, I grasped your whole point to me of Danny Pink being a "hard" worker and he maybe is but you responsible for EVERY action and it only takes 1 bad one to destroy your name, there are too many others who wouldn't under ANY circumstances..

bottom line is NONE of what you wrote explains to me why he did this, and even worse when asked why he said "no comment?", for real? you ain't got NOTHING to say about those allegations? the man is accusing you of doing something punishable of getting your license revoked, you have NOTHING to say about that?

I believe what Roy Jones Jr is saying, that whole fight was shady man it was a dirty and shady situation Roy was stuck in, fight a guy with casts under his gloves or get disqualified and lose anyway, Roy was a warrior and took his best shot but to get hit to the back of the head with a plaster filled glove by a man that size ain't easy, it could feel like taking a baseball bat upside your head..
