I am usually not one to believe allegations like this where there is no substantial proof. However, I believe Roy in this case. Having your hand wrapped two hours in advanced is not normal. Neither is saying you will be DQ'd. All fighters have the right (At least in North America) to force his opponents to be re-wrapped if done illegally. Also Danny Green was never a huge puncher, and Roy has faced better punches and never has been laid out from a glancing shot in the first ****ing round. It took Tarver the best and flushest punch of his career in his three fights with Roy to stop him, and it took Johnson 9 rounds of administering brutal punishment to stop Roy, and this clown lands a grazing shot which wasn't even full force and drops Roy even though he was never known t be a one punch knockout artist? Also, on top of that he says no comment when asked about it?

At first I thought Roy was delusional like many of you, but all of this makes perfect sense, from the two hour wait, to the gloves, to the one grazing shot and everything.

I've always thought Roy was an embarrassment to the sport.the most unsportsmanlike showboater ever! When tarver flattened him I was so happy & Johnson too...I was saying told you so after the green fight to all those who said he was back...I'll wait & see what happens before I pass judgement.Roy could have avoided this on fight night but he didn't....I'll wait & see but I hope Roy has not cried wolf & making excuses.it looks good on him for all the times he gyrated & danced like a ****sexual in the ring to disrespect his opponent.he never took risks until he was too old & missed the spotlight.he's done & should just go away!

come on man not you too...

did it ever occur to anyone that jones was falling back into the ropes in the first minute of the fight?, baited green in with his arms wide open and green's slow ass still nailed him? it wasn't like green landed cement laden punches through jones' guard...

how do you answer jones never throwing one retaliatory shot back?...this is a 20+ year vet...he should know better than anyone that if he doesn't throw back something, the fight is gonna be stopped....he even called a fight where HE pointed out that the hurt fighter wasn't throwing back and a stoppage was justified (mayweather/manfredy)....even pointed out that the hurt fighter could have taken a knee....what happened to jones taking a knee if he was able to continue?

if you were'nt ******ed and followed roy jones he has done the highguard till recovery with no punches thrown for sometime now

in tarver one, in tarver 3(after he was hurt) and in the johnson fight
only(from what i've seen) in england and now australia is where they like to stops fights prematurely

first of all, f.u.....second of all, if you werent a excuse making, delusional jones ballicker, you would know he ran the risk of getting ko'd or tko'd every time he did that s**t past his prime...hence the tarver, johnson, and now green ko's...its called having his number...if the ref stopped it in the first round, it was obvious to him there was no point in jones taking any further punishment

I believe Roy on this one, I seriously doubt he would make this up at this point of his career, the knockdown and stoppage were both already ugly to begin with
