Yeah the live fight was delayed because their was a big issue with the wraps... the broadcast backs up roys statement that there WAS a problem.

When Danny Green was asked if he wanted to deny the accusations... his comment was:

yeah but if the wraps were tampered and you can't get a rewrap, why fight? jones of all people is a cat who called his own shots...after getting ko'd twice, he (or at least merkerson) should have said no fight....it ain't worth it for 4 mil

He spoke on exactly that, first they said if you dont come out youll be disqualified, and then he said how am I not gonna come out with 20,000 people waiting to see me fight, after going through this entire promotion and coming over here... he said I wasn't not going to come out.

well it won't be the first disqualification on his record and it beats another loss...

yeah i believe 20,000 people would have watched him get a systematic, cement gloved beatdown had the ref not stopped the fight...in the first round he was already falling to the ropes and was gonna let a cement gloved cruiserweight pound on him for 12 rounds...

you gotta be some fan to have that much faith that roy was ready for that kind of fight...
