Well you seemed worried about it by asking those questions.. the answers are in the letter.
Yes, I do think they have a case, pictures and the actual box of gauze he used they have. The letter is a pretty compelling case.
Although I am an obvious Roy fan, I understand delussion.
However, I think he has a pretty strong case, and it isn't a case of just not accepting a loss.Comment

It doesn't tarnish anything. How the **** will losing to inferior fighters when he is obviously shot going to diminish his legacy that he achieved when he was at his best?I'll probably die before this guy hangs it up. Sometimes not knowing when to hang it up outweighs the greed of money. Right now RJJ is looked at as the biggest laughing stock in the sport. Sure, you have guys like Tyson Fury or Tye Fields but when you think of major names in the sport, RJJ takes the cake. The guy should of been smarter with his money because no man should go through the ass beatings he has gone through over the last 5 years. His career is tarnished, greatly.Comment

I just read it with some concentration..... And I agree that they have a case. A the same time I think team Jones are fools. I mean why fight when you know or at least have reason to believe that the opponent have a cannonball for a fist? They should have refused to fight. Everybody would have understood that position and I'm pretty shure they would have been allowed inspection if they threatened to walk away.Well you seemed worried about it by asking those questions.. the answers are in the letter.

What have you done lately mentality. Great fighters have always struggled to let it go, but very few have taken it on the chin the way Roy has. If you ask someone that follows the sport and ask them whats the first thing you think about when I say Roy Jones, what do you think they say? I bet it is the Tarver KO. Not trying to hate on Roy, I like him but it's the truth.Comment

First thing I think about are his wins over Toney, Hopkins and Ruiz. What have you done lately mentality. Every little loss since Johnson has effected his Legacy a little even if he is shot, it's ****** to claim otherwise. Fans who did not watch Roy in his prime are now seeing him get beat up, sure they can watch you tube videos etc. It still doesn't really capture just how good he was in his prime and the losses even though he was/is shot stick in the mind.
I still believe Roy would beat Bhop for some reason anywayComment

That's because you like Roy. If you aren't a big fan of his I bet you would think differently. The Hopkins fight didn't have a buildup(Hop was a pup) to make it a career remembering fight and the Ruiz win is overshadowed because it happened so close to the down swing of Roys career. All three are great wins for him but Roys biggest highlight came from the knockout he suffered at the hands of Tarver.Comment
thats like saying jordan coming back for the wizards ****ed his legacy up too
