The obsessive's from both sides will never be pleased.

oh i see...but seriously canelo rehydrates to around 20 lbs compared to around 10 pounds (if i recall it correctly) by cotto at ww so canelo cutting 2 more pounds is not the same.

Definitely pot calling kettle black... Same goes with all of you too who backed the Pac-Cotto catch weight fight with all type of excuses but now deem the Mayweather-Canelo fight tainted.
Why are you restating your first paragraph? Both times you have a problem with the same side. You must have thought you were giving token condemnation both ways, but didn't focus on the job and let your instincts take over.

Lets get past this first, and get into the finer points once you think this through.

Actually, I have no problem with the catchweight for this fight and have said so since the fight was announced.

        Shall we carry on?

You are flip floping, you don't have a problem because you don't want to come across like a hypocrite but you do have a problem with it. That's what fanboyism does to you, you have to flip flop so yea "carry on"

I've said various times I don't care about the catchweight. You won't find one post of mine saying it will affect any fighter. I'm just loving the fact that all the floyd stans have to eat crow or change their stance.

Cotto has come to the ring at 164 lbs in the past and around the time of the Pacquaio fight so that would be near enough 20 lbs of rehydration, same as Canelo (154 to 172)

And regardless to reyhydration, if both Canelo and Cotto can shread the extra weight, which is less than 2 lbs, comfortabley then both fights are pretty much exactly the same in regards to the weight.

Difficult to support one and not the other.

No I have a problem with flip floppers, I want to see a straight no and no, not yes and then no and then back to yes and then no just because your favourite fighters have move the goalposts. The same posters defending the Pac-Cotto fight and bring up excuses about how Cotto weight one pound less in his previous fights are now attacking the Mayweather fight. I want to see those posters make a thread and defend Mayweather the same way they defend Pac with their lives.

And the same goes for the people who attacked the Pac-Cotto fight and now trying to defend or make excuses about how Mayweather doesn't weight blah blah blah on fight night.. I want to see them make threads about how the Mayweather-Canelo fight is tainted with the catch weight..
