Margarito was a nobody...and at the time Baldi had a better resume and the LINEAL WW Title....and he didnt have Aum as his promoter and he was offering more money.

No it was not signed... Don't say its a fact when obvious you don't know... They agreed to fight. Both had to win there tune-ups. Floyd did his part and beat Mitchell. Zab lost his. But, both Arum and Floyd was willing to go through the fight still. IF Zab would take less money. Zab didn't care and took like 2 million dollars less. Don King was ok with it. Then was fine with the fight going through. So they had to re-work the contract.

The agreement was if they both won. When Zab lost. Floyd could of chose somebody else. Again it was an agreement nothing was signed. If it was signed Zab would of gotten the same amount of money that was agreed upon.

That was on the Steven A show, and those same fans didn't respond when he asked who Oscar was either...That proves nothing.

I do know this though, after that meeting Margo had with Floyd, Floyd told him to look impressive in his next fight, and he might consider the fight. What did Margo do? Just KO'ed Gomez in the first round. Floyd was never heard from again.
