I don't get how the title going to different fighters is Baldomir's fault. Eventually the title will get passed down to other fighters. The fact is, he beat the man who was the undisputed champ and became the lineal champ.

Just when Margarito could have been a potential opponent, he turns around and loses a fight. Baldomir gained the right to fight Floyd in doing what Margarito could not do.

Margarito in reality was never a potential opponent for Floyd. So lets stop with the BS.

And, what exactly was it that Margarito could not do exactly?

margarito would have been the man if any of these "lineal" champs ever stepped up to fight him. it's painfully obvious they feared him. mayorga was gonna fight him but then king stuck him in with cory spinks instead. this started the chain reaction of passing the belt back and forth like a hot potato. mayorga-spinks-judah-baldomir. murderers row for sure. strange how none of these "lineal" champs ever fought the guy who was number one in the division for 5 years. it's like they were ducking him............ oh well thankfully mayweather became the "lineal" man and he stepped up the challenge oof! nevermind.

Listen burner I dont normally post here but im a big mayweatehr fan and I can admit margarito at the time was all wrong for mayweater,
And for you to not even acknowledge that he was the main man at welterweight suggests to me that you have not been watching boxing that long or your blind with ignorance....
I think if they met now floyd would ud him bcoz his body has filled out more but back when the fight was on the line I tink tony would have been an awful match up for floyd..styles make fights and never has it been more evident than in this case.....
If it was such an easy fight why didnt floyd take it???

In hind sight, its better that the fight never happened, because I believe there was a good chance Margarito would have cheated. Not saying that Floyd or is camp knew that.

Without plaster, Floyd wins a UD. Way back when Margs size and strength may have made for harder fight. But now Floyd pitches a near shutout.
