Actually a decade starts with 1 and ends with 0. The first year was year 1, not year zero, and that decade ended 10 years later with year 10, not 9 years later with year 9.

So this decade began on January 1st 2001 and will end December 31st 2010. I hate to get technical with the pac-tards but thats how the calender really works. Look it up.

Ive actually changed my opinion on this situation.

While I still think its premature to crown Pac over May, 3 months before we actually know the REAL answer, maybe this will work out for the best afterall.

Pacquiao is the HBO fighter of the decade . So in 2010 when Mayweather gets accused of ducking Martinez or Paul Williams and dodging the tough challenges, Floyd can always point to, "I beat the fighter of the decade" I know that still wont be enough for the angry haters out there but at least we have this HBO list and a few thousand pac-off threads to prove that Manny was a legit contender prior to March 13th.

If HBO and his fans deem him worthy, then so it is. Though I actually believe this will only give Manny a boost in morale and confidence to perform that much better on the biggest night of his career, no one can claim he's the smaller man anymore.

He's proven his mettle at the top of the sport.

The burden is now on him to defend the title and his status.

Even if he loses in a hard fought twelve round battle, he'll receive my utmost respect.
