Anyway, lets not get confused with all these numbers... Can you count to one??? Is there any number that preceded one??? How about 1/2 or 3/4???
Ever think of that???

[URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0_(number)#In_mathematics"]Originally posted by istmeno View Postdo u realize that you owned yourself with that wiki post. it says clearly that zero is a place holder.
in case you didnt see it. 0 is both a number and the numerical digit used to represent that number in numerals. It plays a central role in mathematics as the additive identity of the integers, real numbers, and many other algebraic structures. As a digit, 0 is used as a placeholder in place value systems. In the English language, 0 may be called zero, oh, null, nil, or nought, dependant on dialect and context.[1]

Elementary algebra
The number 0 is the least non-negative integer. The natural number following 0 is 1 and no natural number precedes 0. The number 0 may or may not be considered a natural number, but it is a whole number and hence a rational number and a real number (as well as an algebraic number and a complex number).
Your ignoring every value from 0 to 1. how much value does a dime have? .10(or 1/10) of $1 right!?!

You don't have to say Mexicans in large numbers, you're generally speaking.
So, no Mexicans don't pluck their eyebrows.
Thats some ***** ****.

While I still think its premature to crown Pac over May, 3 months before we actually know the REAL answer, maybe this will work out for the best afterall.
Pacquiao is the HBO fighter of the decade . So in 2010 when Mayweather gets accused of ducking Martinez or Paul Williams and dodging the tough challenges, Floyd can always point to, "I beat the fighter of the decade" I know that still wont be enough for the angry haters out there but at least we have this HBO list and a few thousand pac-off threads to prove that Manny was a legit contender prior to March 13th.Originally posted by madsweeney View PostYour overcomplicating things.
2000 had 12 months = 1 year
2001 had 12 months = 1 year
2002 had 12 months = 1 year
2003 had 12 months = 1 year
2004 had 12 months = 1 year
2005 had 12 months = 1 year
2006 had 12 months = 1 year
2007 had 12 months = 1 year
2008 had 12 months = 1 year
2009 had 12 months = 1 year
--------------------------------
Which adds up to 10 years, a decade
If you were to add the additional 12 months of 2010 you'd have 11 years! Don't look at the year number, count up how much time actually passed in each year!!Originally posted by TortillaWarrior View PostSome people are too ****** to even understand basic ****.

seriously, if that isn't enough proof to what constitutes a decade,
lets take an example.
the 1960s.
1960 year 1
1961 year 2
1962 year 3
1963 year 4
1964 year 5
1965 year 6
1966 year 7
1967 year 8
1968 year 9
1969 year ****ing 10.
How in the **** do you include the year 1970 as part of the SIXTIES?
damn *****s are ******.

Do you know what you guys I think sychomanz and istmeno are right. Lets burn all our calendars and rewrite all historical references to decades starting at the "0" years.
From now all the decades shall be rewritten.
50's - 1951-1960
60's - 1961-1970
70's - 1971-1980...and so on
Wait 0 isnt a real number so we'll just remove those years, afterall they never really happened
50's - 1951-1959
60's - 1961-1969
70's - 1971-1979...and so on
