Truth is MMA is the one doing bad, boxing has been doing geat even better than ever if you ask me. This could possibly be the best boxing has ever done.
I stopped watching MMA since Crocop first retired..

All this short explosive stuff is just an excuse for an easy workout. They all get immensely tired even when nothing is happening. I mean look at Kimbo and that other bum he was fighting the other day. They both do that standard tough guy, hands on knees breathing heavily (I gave it my all) image. Almost started laughing.
Yeah man, I doubt they do much road work. From what I've seen it's usually just a short 'explosive' workout like pushing a car, something with weights, or going up a some steps or a hill a couple times.

45 year old Hopkins puts all those cats to shame.

btw, fighters in mma fight with gloves that have very little padding. almost every single punch is that much more dangerous as a result. mma is more like a real fight. in a real fight, you wouldn't let someone land 200+ punches on you like in boxing. You have to be weary of every single punch thats why fighters are more defensive in mma than boxing.
lol, no it's not. The difference in impact between an 8 ox reyes and 4-5 oz MMA glove is very VERY minimal.

        proof

lmao more defensive? the *** you smoking son.

considering MMA fighters cant punch worth a **** ass, you can bet the impacts are even more immense in boxing. I mean look at the way Bas is punching, he's not even using his hips.

Really? So you're in most of these fighters' training camps? You might fool others with some vague **** like that, but not me.

I'd put money on most mma fighters coming down at least 30 pounds. Anderson Silva walks around at 220, B.J. Penn and Lesnar are coming down at least 40 pounds. St. Pierre is the only one that might be walking around less than 30 and it wouldn't be by much.

Not entirely true since many of the top tier fighters always come out on UFC countdowns doing ton's of road work. Even BJ Penn when he was half assing his training for GSP was still doing 7-10 miles of road work a day.

What 95% of fighters gas? Name some?? Oh because they only fight 3 rounds! Well when I see a boxers start shooting for a take down, defending a take down, and actually using kicks as well as punches then I will say you have a fair comparison. Also don't forget the rounds are 2 min longer in MMA with the same 1 min rest period.

explain the fight the other night then, with Kimbo and Alexander. I didn't see them do anything and they were gassed. I realize Kimbo is a joke, but alexander was supposed to be at least middle of the league.

For the record, boxing is even more intensive when it comes to energy consumption.

Yeah, you could tell they were telling the truth seeing as how lean Penn is. Lying to Dana White about not breaking camp. I seriously doubt he's running the hour+ he needs to for 7 miles, whatever floats your boat though.

Lesnar doesn't even train outside of the gym.

And what does bruce lee have to do with BJ Penn?? It's like comparing roger Clemens to Joe Montana.
