They'll fight, its just a question of when.
Basically you're using a double standard so you would NOT say the same thing.

Pretty funny, I heard Floyd was originally approached for the part but he denied when he and Ellerbe got booked for Brokeback Mountain 2:We Want Muscles.

If you respect both fighters how can you say his retirement was phony. He had hand problems all his life and developed some back problems as well down the stretch. He needed some time to heal his body... dude is in this game for forever... he just need a time to heal.

If you talk about 2008 and on of course Pacquiao has a better resume... Floyd ain't fought.

Before he went into retirement, he already fought Hatton and DLH... so he did the same like Pac. As he went up to WW he fought Mitchell and afterwards he fought Judah and Baldomir who where champions (like Diaz) as well. So I don't see why Pac-Man's resume should be better or at least say that he always fought the best. I give Pacquiao the benfit of a doubt of having a better resume BUT I don't give him that he always fought the best.

Diaz, no way the best 135. DLH at the time ain't fought as a WW for years and was not even the best or in the running of being the best at 154. Hatton came of a loss to Floyd at a time he was considered the best at 140. If he still was the best at the time Pac fought him??? Cotto was a real challenge and he flew through it with flying colours.

Again I'm not bashing Pacquiao... I'm just trying to give you some points so you can see what I see... of yourse you can say he moved up weight classes with every fight and it was impressive... and it is... I think that it is absolutely deserving that after Cotto he's considered an all-time great... but he ain't always fought the best since moving up... the same goes Floyd as well... but both ain't that much different.
what you dont get is that pacquiao had to move up from his natural weight. imagine him goin up 17 pounds to fight oscar in just 10 months. (You guys just see one side of the story where oscar was weight drained, which i believe he is, but it was his fault for picking on midget pacquiao instead of margarito) then he fought hatton who was still bigger than him and then cotto who was clearly bigger than him during fight night also. Mayweather went up 7 pounds to fight oscar at 154, i give him that, but he cherry picked hatton. He made hatton move up in weight and was clearly smaller than mayweather. And then 2 years later came up marquez who was already sluggish at lightweight and to add even more that he came in 2 pounds over the catchweight.

After reading a few pages of comments I have seen who is an actual BOXING fan and who is just a Pac ****rider. I would give no excuse for Floyd if he fought Matthew Hatton instead of Pac in March because that's what he asked to do. I will give Manny no excuse for this one either. Make the ****ing fight so I can get rich.

The Marquez fight was a done deal and guaranteed to happen. Big difference between postponing and avoiding a fight.
