While everyone has jumped on the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao wagon, Manny's attorney, Franklin Gacal, told The Philippine Star that it won't happen until the mid or late point of 2010. Gacal spoke to Pacquiao last night, and as of last night, Pacquiao has no plans to fight until after the May elections. Earlier this week, Pacquiao announced that he was running for a congressional seat in the Philippines. [Click Here To Read More]

Are you a boxer or a politician? Sign the damn fight or retire. This is the fight everyone wants to see and the two fighters owe it to the fans who pay their bills. If you don't do this fight then just leave the sport, goes for both guys. Sick of the bs of these two drama queens, moaning over a few million bucks while others in the world sc**** for their next meal.

Honestly you can't really blame him for this from what I know about the situation. He has a busted ear drum and likely needs to work harder than ever for this fight, 3 months is just not enough time for him to be prepared properly. May 1st could be enough but even then his schedule will be ridiculous but that could be doable, although I'm not sure he'd be at his best by then. Even Roach before anything was discussed said May or June at the least. People need to chill.

Every human being has the right to do what he wants to but what is this **** all about.
First they start all that **** about the split and who is a bigger draw and settle for 50/50 which is a very good deal for them. Roach said that he needs a few monts to train Pacquiao for the kind of fighter Floyd is, what??? Then they don't want to fight in May... where Floyd wanted the fight... now he seemingly agreed to everything and now is not fighting at March?
What the hell is going on... I hope this is just a lame duck and it isn't true... but slowly I really get the feeling that they don't want Floyd. And I don't want to start some ducking claims I'm not that kind of guy. I can even understand them after May exposes him he will have a hard time get to the point where he is now again because there is somebody then who beat him but then simply say I don't want to fight Floyd... and don't start to talk BS about Floyd (especially Arum and Roach)... they are running their mouths and now they back out???
Jesus Christ... I really hope it's only tactical... so the the fans get even more excited about it
