When it comes to Pacman, its the opposite...he is the little guy from 106lbs who is suppose to lose...etc etc etc..

You put Pacman on a pedestal and if a fighers beats him, it means nothing because Pacman is destined to lose in his advantageous bouts. Its a very lame argument and it no longer holds water. Pacman is now a true welterweight and if you follow the media craze, some regard him as one of the best of all time.

Manny is in his prime at the peak of his game and when Mayweather beats him, he deserves all the credit in the world.

Your argument holds no water because you just tried to distort the reason why i said he wont get props.

Props means "proper respect" not that he wont get any!! for winning.

Forget all the other BS you are trying to push as my irrationally hating on Mayweather.

These are facts and they are commonsense to anyone with a brain.

If you have 5/6 fights against top caliber opposition in your!! own weight division(147) you have more chance of coming unstuck than what you do waiting for a guy to establish himself as "the best" then coming along and winning a head to head and trying to make out you are a greater fighter legacy wise because you beat him in a one off fight head to head.

So lets say he beats Pacquiao, then does what after that, nothing? but can proclaim himself to be the best of his era and a greater fighter than Pacquiao ? i dont think so. He will have to fight other challenges before then. Knowing him he will probably fight Shane when he is another how many years older and that will seal a fake career for him.
      Makes sense.

No he did not, but the irony is he gave Wink a chance when no one else would and was advised not to fight him. Mosley came unstuck because he consistently fought the best. Forrest beat him in the amateurs( twice i think) and he might have been told not to fight Forrest if i remember right.

What are you trying to say that Mosley/Wink are not great fighters

Yep. Floyd says he wont credit if he wins, they will say he was supposed to win because he is the bigger man.

Its Mayweather himself who is strongly of the opinion that the bigger man should always be able to beat the smaller fighter, that is one of the reasons he is so critical of Leonard losing to Duran, and probably why he made sure JMM was considerably smaller than him, that fight was not long after he cherry picked the smaller Hatton from 140.

Last time I checked Hatton won the WBA welterweight title at 147. He also ballons up to 180+ between fights. Smaller fighter huh? Try again.

They are great boxers, it's just that I added it to your logical question previously. Mosley lost twice to Forrest @ 147, then he lost to winky twice @ 154. That's why I give respect to Shane even in defeat he's man enough to accept it.

This is quite interesting thread w/c makes sense and you will know who is thinking logically w/o being judgmental just pure logical reasoning based on facts.

I dont dispute that, it stands to reason Hatton would want the fight, biggest pay day, not a huge loss of credibility if he loses because he can say 147 is not his weight and the Collazo performance will testify to that, plus losing to "the best fighter in the world" is what is?

Dude come on. You are not going to tell me Hatton preferred the fight to be at 147 than his natural 140lbs, why would he ?

Before agreeing to a fight haters say Floyd is scared and running from challenge. When he agrees, hes cherrypicking on a fighter who has a bad style matchup. How original.
