Anybody know the deal on Pac right hand? They noted that it was swollen or something after the fight and it seems like he's wearing a brace of some sort (even now I think).

Did he fracture something?

Pacquiao's defence was far better for the De La Hoya fight. His relentless head movement shocked me, and his in-out method of dismantling Oskie was IMO more effective than his gung-ho approach with Cotto.

I don't know which one he should use against Mayweather, though...

it's clear pac respected ODLH's punches more than he respected cotto's - that is, it was his first fight at WW, he might give it all now to ODLH and KD/KO him.

I would have expected to see more damage on the left hand though, but the post fight interview clearly showed there doesn't seem to be any problem on that side..

How many punches did Cotto land on Pac? Im too lazy to look it up..And if Pac can take Cottos power he should be fine with a leaky defense..In theory..

Based on compubox, Pac landed more shots than cotto fromround 2-12...Cotto only won round 1 even w/o the KDs.,.

As for Pac's defense, Manny was testing cotto's power during round 1...He was kinda taunting him to get into his head...

Definitely, but I don't think he can just walk through Floyd's punches. Remember, speed is power. Cotto is a stronger puncher than Mayweather. But Floyd's speed plus his balance make him the more gifted and devastating puncher.

Like everyone always says, the shots that hurt the most are the ones you don't see. If Pacquiao only thinks offense, he'll get caught with something wicked.

he said he wanted to prove that he can take cotto's punch... probably read some threads here in nsb claiming he can't take cotto's punch.

PAC also read that PBF defense is invincible, so imho he will test that out as well...
