I see nothing wrong with a white fighter appreciation thread and i`m black.Every race should be proud of their race and their race accomplishments.

And Ali was consistent as well. He never waffled on decisions or contradicted himself. Ali never told Frazier "You'll get your shot" and then avoid him and fight someone else.

ppl lost interest in boxing because black ppl were dominating? are you sick? there are over 40 million black ppl in America, if only 10% of them supported their own brotherhood, boxing would be huge. Why aren't they supporting their "brothers"?

floyd doesn't have the same following as hatton because he is boring. not because he is black. Tyson was black, and just look at the all-time ppv numbers to see how ppl were driven away by his dominance, lol.

american football is dominated by blacks yet its the most popular sport in the states making billions of dollars every year. Tiger Woods is black and he is the first athlete to make 1 billion dollars because "white" ppl love to watch him.

As much as I believe that there is racism in this world, I think it tends to be over blown by some people like yourself.

At the Hopkins/Delahoya fight you had Mexicans calling Hops a ****** after hops knock out Delahoya.At the Joe Mesi/WIlliamson fight you had the whites in that audience saying "knock out that ******",At the Paul WIllaims/Margarito fight you had Mexicans saying Kill the ******.For those who don`t know,****** means black beetle.


The way to solve this problem about blacks difficulty becoming a star is for Promotors to market their black fighters towards a black Audience.Get them on BET ,black magazines etc.

this ****ty thread was made racial just because people hate on defensive fighters, especially the #1 p4p cherry picker of all time

people appreciate robinson, louis, ali, leonard, mosley, etc. black fighters from any generation. they had entertaining styles and if they bad a big ego, it was because they actually earned it through amazing wins

some black crybabies complain here about black defensive fighters not getting so much love but guess what? boxing is a sport. televised sports are a way of entertainment and watching someone avoid taking chances isn't entertaining to most people. add to that one of them cherry picking and not taking chances even with those opponents he cherry picked and you'll understand why he's not appreciated

You see this is what the thread starter mean.Ya`ll always trying to find a way to discredit Floyd.Floyd is trying to make the fight with Pacquiao and Shane.And Floyd been trying to get Shane in the ring since 98.Shane did`nt want it until he became old and no longer feared losing to Floyd.And Floyd has beaten very good quality opponents but ya`ll discredit every win.When Floyd beat Judah:Judah was nothing,When Cotto beat him "it was the greatest thing".When Floyd beat Hatton:"Hatton was to small and a bum"When Pac beat a shop worn Hatton"Pac is the greatest ever".When Floyd beat a healthier Delahoya at 154 "Delahoya was shot"When Hatton beat him"It was the greatest accomplishment"

floyd has done NOTHING since he moved up to 140 and 147. he's a cherry picker and an opportunist. he beat up a shot gatti, a lucky bum in baldomir, a judah that just came from losing to a bum, a not shot but clearly past prime de la hoya, a 140 champ on 147, where he had already struggled and almost gotten KO'd, and last but not least, a guy whose prime weight is 130 and campaigned at 135 while struggling

get back at me when floyd actually fights a live opponent. stop crying for him, because while you try to defend his cherry picking, he's making more money than you could even dream of. stop putting it like he's having a tough time because of us. heck, HE already admitted that he doesn't care about legacy, and it shows

i've never called him a ****** because that's going far to low. i won't lower myself to an ex convict's level of disrespect, even if it were to promote something. but hey, that's just me... maybe you would also like to defend that??
