Black American Fighter Appreciation Thread

Nothing wrong with this thread since Black Americans are not a race but a group of people. There are Pinoy, Mexican and Rican appreciation threads yet Black American cannot have one. Black Americans have done much for this sport time and time again. From Jack Johnson to Andre Ward.
Black Americans have developed their own slick style which can be very hard for straight forward robotic fighters to beat
My favourite fighters are Mayweather,Williams,Ward,Whitaker and Hearns

No-one supporting Floyd in his hometown was nothing to do with his skin colour.
Anyway back to topic. Most of my all time favorite fighters happen to be black Americans. Ali, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Holyfield, Tyson, RJJ, Toney, Hopkins, etc etc.

[QUOTE=Still Pimpin;6757189]Our fighter rarely get the benefit of the doubt in any situation. We have arguably made boxing the sport it is today. Some of us have not only mastered the science but we've developed our own styles of hand to hand combat in which few will ever be able to mimic successfully.
My problem is because we've done so well in this sport our fighter are largely underrated and hated passionately by other countries and races of people. Most races had lost interest in boxing due to our dominance over the years and as soon as they get 1 good contender they act as if this contender is above all.
People fault black champions for being ****y or having ego's but rarely think about the dilemma a black champion faces when he can't do PPV #'s. When a black champion completely cleans out his division and moves up in weight where he continues to dominate nobody gives a **** but when a fighter of another race does the same they act like it's the reincarnation of Jesus.
Right now the boxing world has a lot of good fighters from all over the world stepping up to the world stage and they are doing great. I love the way Manny fights and while I enjoy Kessler's style more than Joe's nobody can deny what Joe has accomplished. Hatton was not a great boxer but he was a beast of a fighter, but it bothered me how nobody was in Vegas supporting Floyd when the Brits invaded.
Look at RJJ. As dominate as he was everytime his name was brought people would claim he was overratted...smh
Anyways enough talk what do you think ?
Floyd
************************************************** *******
I agree 100%.If Paul Williams was another race he would have already been a star.Same as Mosley.Pavlik became a star overnight knocking out bums.

That confused white lad King Flawless has made this thread many times, although not with the exact thread title.

That's what I took issue with.
All you have to do is look at the list of all time greats. It's filled with black american fighters. In boxing it's black americans that set the standard. And when a fighter that isnt african american reaches or exceeds those standards it's african american fans that get all butthurt and subject them to double standards in my opinion.
Look at great european fighters. African American fans are so quick to label them bums because they fight in Europe and not in America even though all the top fighters in the upper weights are from europe, not america.
Look at Latin fighters. African American fans are so quick to label them brawlers with alot of courage but little skill because they would rather slug it out at times and ignore defense.
Look at the asian fighters. African american fans are so quick to call asian fighters like Pacquiao a midget even though he's been the same height or taller than almost all of his opponents except for delahoya and morales.

Pac gets his props and latinos get their props. U.K has a country behind them but they don't get their props easily.

Can someone make a "White Fighter Appreciation" Thread and see how quickly it gets deleted and the TS is banned?
Just for fun.
I dare one of you to try it.
