Ellerbe and Floyd are on some ***** ****. Mayweather doesn't even deserve a bigger split than Pacquiao because Pacquiao is the most popular Asian fighter there is. He has influence over people not just in the Phillipines. But countries like Sinagore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. And not to mention that the crime rate in the Phillipines goes down. Mayweather and his team don't even take these kind of things into consideration when they talk out of their ass. I think 50-50 is somewhat reasonable but if Floyd got a bigger portion than that then Pacquiao and his negotiating team are crazy for that. They should stand firm on this and not budge because all of Floyd's big name opponents got a bigger cut of the money than he did.

And I find it funny when Ellerbe points out the fact that Cotto is a bigger PPV draw than JMM. Well, if so, then why the hell did Floyd duck him and go into retirement? I mean, I'm not saying Cotto did anything to help the fight happen either. But it's still the fact that it always seemed like Floyd didn't want anything to do with Cotto when Cotto was more at the top of his game. He said that he'd retire from boxing and not let boxing retire him when Merchant threw names at him like Winky, Forrest, and Cotto.

You must be ******, do you think there are no filipinos worldwide? I'm not in the Phils. and I know lots of Filipinos who are outside the Phils who ordered that fight. Just think what 5million Filipinos around the world could do for that PPV. In the US alone i wouldn't doubt if filipinos reaches more than a million in numbers.

The general population will not order PPV in the Phils as it was shown free over there as it was carried by local networks but a bit delayed for an hour.

Just a small correction, about 8+ Million Filipinos are scattered all over the world, 2+ Million of w/c are in the US. A 1 Million here in Saudi Arabia.

bottom line is that when we look at both fighters' resume, its clearly hands down in Pac-Man's favor.....

Without question Mayweather is talented, but I sit and wonder how he would have done in there against Cotto, no doubt in my mind he would have put on a "boxing" exhibition, however I seriously doubt he would have but on the beating that Pac-Man put on Cotto....

and when we look at the Dela Hoya fights, Mayweather was unable to hurt Dela Hoya, Pac-Man was able to throw Dela Hoya a beating and essentially made Dela Hoya QUIT on his stool......

And let's not talk about Hatton, it was a total NO-CONTEST when Pac-Man just destroyed him, Mayweather fought a good fight against him but I actally think Hatton head bouncing off of that ring post also served as an additiional blow that left the Brit stunned.....

I'm sure Mayweather would be quick to say that he beat both of those guys first and that he softened them up for Pac-Man....

Lets just get this fight done, mayweather next and then Mosley.....Pac-Man's on a mission to do what other fighters are AFRAID to do, fight the best!!!

And if by chance Mayweather were to beat Pac-Man, I'm sure he'll go the nothing to prove rout and say he's bored with boxing and that he'll retire!!!! I already see it coming......and that's what's going to keep him from truly being adourned by true boxing fans!!!

The point is Freddie Roach and Pacquiao have already conceded a 50-50 split. So what is Floyd's excuse not to make the fight happen now? Mayweather is not a bigger draw than Pacquiao is. All those people that ordered JMM's fight with Floyd were Mexican. The reason why the rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather didn't do as good is because it was at 130. Pacquiao and Floyd are practically at the same level where generating money is concerned.

LOL, their putting down JMM but on being not a ppv attraction. Then why the hell did the PBF-JMM landed a million ppv sales. Part if the reason it sold that much ppv is cuz JMM is ranked #2 p4p and his Mexican-American fans.

I believed also that the Mexican-Americans outnumberd the Puerto Ricans in the US, double or triple the population.

You also have to look at the economic situations/value of living in Philippines. The country does not have the luxury like the United Kingdom or the United States. It is a 3rd world country that has a lot of poverty. They can't afford to pay a ppv, not even a basic cable on their tv. In the UK, it is the opposite. They have money over thee and can buy the ppv.
