Pacquiao and Floyd are practically at the same level where generating money is concerned.
    Exactly.

Mayweather's team needs to quit playing ****** games. Arum/Team Pacquiao should not even respond to bull**** like this. Just leave the 50/50 offer on the table and wait for Mayweather's dumbass to accept it. Roach already cut through the bs and issued the most reasonable offer.

I believed also that the Mexican-Americans outnumberd the Puerto Ricans in the US, double or triple the population.

You also have to look at the economic situations/value of living in Philippines. The country does not have the luxury like the United Kingdom or the United States. It is a 3rd world country that has a lot of poverty. They can't afford to pay a ppv, not even a basic cable on their tv. In the UK, it is the opposite. They have money over thee and can buy the ppv.
Dude, some of the Filipinos can afford to buy PPVs and I think they did. And quite a number of households in the Phils does have a cable tv. I for one have 2 different cable tv providers at my home in the Phils. But the fact that more than 80% of our population are poor, some gov't. officials and persons who can afford, they provide free viewing on such places like basketball gyms, etc, for those Filipinos who cannot afford to PPVs. Even in cinemas for those who can afford to pay for the fee.

what da! even if half of that country is poor, google tells me there's around 90 million filipinos. half of that is a pretty damn good figure

anyway, my point is, Pacman is such a huge star in the philippines that people will probably save up for this fight more than their own mother's operation

but i heard that it's shown in the phils via free terrestrial channel which I assume pays HBO back in return

I'm not Floyd's biggest fan but i'm suprised he's getting all the stick here. If I remember correctly, Roach wants the fight at 145? So, it's not like Mayweather's making all the demands.

This fight aint gonna happen anyways.

Like i said, most can't afford basic cable. About the mother operation, your wrong about that. You don't know about the Pinoy family kinship.
