well Pacman has No Fear, so he does represent the brand in many ways. I can't really see the company hiring floydie as endorser for No Fear for obvious reasons.

LOL, their putting down JMM but on being not a ppv attraction. Then why the hell did the PBF-JMM landed a million ppv sales. Part if the reason it sold that much ppv is cuz JMM is ranked #2 p4p and his Mexican-American fans.

I believed also that the Mexican-Americans outnumberd the Puerto Ricans in the US, double or triple the population.

You also have to look at the economic situations/value of living in Philippines. The country does not have the luxury like the United Kingdom or the United States. It is a 3rd world country that has a lot of poverty. They can't afford to pay a ppv, not even a basic cable on their tv. In the UK, it is the opposite. They have money over thee and can buy the ppv.

Dude, some of the Filipinos can afford to buy PPVs and I think they did. And quite a number of households in the Phils does have a cable tv. I for one have 2 different cable tv providers at my home in the Phils. But the fact that more than 80% of our population are poor, some gov't. officials and persons who can afford, they provide free viewing on such places like basketball gyms,etc, for those Filipinos who cannot afford to PPVs. Even in cinemas for those who can afford to pay for the fee.

PPV Draw

I don't have access to all the figures that others have about PPV Draws. Team Mayweather needs to realize that most PPV's are paid here in the US.
People in most other countries don't have the luxury of dishing out $50.00 + hard earned dollars to watch a fight. So his claim is mute. HBO with all of it's technology should come up with a way as to when people order PPV, the customer selects whom they are paying to watch. My guess would be Whoever vs Mayweather would get more votes. Also, lower the price, it's not easy for people in the US to dish out that kind of cash either.

But back on the subject, then if you said 80% of Pinoys are on poverty, then it is a minority who can afford it. Also, if they did a Pacquiao PPV, how much would it cost? It has to be more than 1,000 pesos. Its only 20 dollars to me, an hours work. But to a Pinoy, that is 2 -3 days paycheck. Of course to the elite rich Pinoy, its nothing to them. Got to go to work.
