Ellerbe and Floyd are on some ***** ****. Mayweather doesn't even deserve a bigger split than Pacquiao because Pacquiao is the most popular Asian fighter there is. He has influence over people not just in the Phillipines. But countries like Sinagore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. And not to mention that the crime rate in the Phillipines goes down. Mayweather and his team don't even take these kind of things into consideration when they talk out of their ass. I think 50-50 is somewhat reasonable but if Floyd got a bigger portion than that then Pacquiao and his negotiating team are crazy for that. They should stand firm on this and not budge because all of Floyd's big name opponents got a bigger cut of the money than he did.

And I find it funny when Ellerbe points out the fact that Cotto is a bigger PPV draw than JMM. Well, if so, then why the hell did Floyd duck him and go into retirement? I mean, I'm not saying Cotto did anything to help the fight happen either. But it's still the fact that it always seemed like Floyd didn't want anything to do with Cotto when Cotto was more at the top of his game. He said that he'd retire from boxing and not let boxing retire him when Merchant threw names at him like Winky, Forrest, and Cotto.

those of you that are saying this fight will not happen because floyd is a is this that and the other you are haters! course this fight is gonna happen floyd aint ducking pacman he is gonna make a hole heep of $$$$$ and that is enough for him to take the fight!! its a great match up so stop hating and support the fight 50/50 split with a win bonus gets the deal done!! mayweather deserves the larger split and could end up getting 55/45, pacman will take the lower offer and do the fight for the people!!! 1st may suits me fine, booked up for vegas holiday on the 26th April!!

I'm tired of Team Pacquiao and Team Mayweather, they both need to STFU and just make the fight. They're making harder than what it has to be. And I'm more so tired of people blaming Floyd!!!

People need to stop saying team pacquiao agreed to 50/50. Roach simply said he "thinks" 50/50 is the only way it happens. He is not pacs manager or promoter. Those people said 70/30 to start the negotiations. Also ive read posts where people said pacquiao would be a much bigger star if he was american. This is totally false. He would not be a god in the phillipines if that were the case and that would take a HUGE dynamic away from what makes him manny pacquiao. He is who he is because of his heritage and if you take that away he wouldnt be the same guy or fighter.

Seriously, saying you would accept 50/50 right off the bat is a ****ty negotiation ploy. That's like saying off the bat "we are only as equal as you not better". You start off high with the idea that you will end up lower eventually.

i dunno man...compared to manny floyd has done more buys Vs Hoya, Hatton and Marquez..and pac's fight wit cotto was only a couple hundred thousand more than floyd return match against a guy who aint known for drawing AND it was floyd comin off a 2 year hiatus...Plus aside from recently Kimmel what has manny actually done? im not gonna bother with floyd outside the boxing stuff he's done.. Floyds the bigger star and clearly..
