I resent that you put everybody who is a fan of floyd into one category but when I look at fighters resume's I take into account who they've beat, when they beat them, how they've beat them and who they've lost to and with those factors I place floyd's resume very close to that of pac's and if pac's is better it would be because of the great win over MAB in their first fight. The problem with floyd fans is that they equate recognizable names that they know with great fighters. With the exception of old oscar & old marquez, floyd really has no true great fighters in his resume.
You have recognizable names like corrales, gatti, judah, & ricky hatton, but none of those fightes are true great fighters. floyd has a lot of good fighters in his resume. no greats except for an old oscar & old marquez who he had to fight 3 division above.Comment

thats all that needs to be said..The Pacquiao has a better resume than Mayweather comment is all hype from his wins against De La Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto. Two of those Floyd had already beat first, Cotto being underdog against a former Featherweight says it all. Imagine Mayweather being underdog against Marquez? Funny thing is Mayweather also came from the lower weights and is held to higer standards than a career 140-147 pounder in Cotto. Floyd has been fighting champions and former champions since the 90s.
This is boxingscene though, so you can't speak with logic and expect for posters to agree with you.Comment

Its not misleading its a fact- what makes a fighter great= fighting the best opposition. What makes it even better fighting at a different weight class and fighting one of the best.
floyd could have done it but unfortunately he was at 130-147, so that throws it out the windowComment
