The hell are you talking about boy. No one even knew who Baldomir was before the Judah fight. The man was a one hit wonder. And please don't bring Gatti (rip) into the picture because he was a glorified club fighter. He's never belonged into the elite.Because he dominated baldomir the lineal champ and manfredy while morales just lost to zahir raheem and many felt he lost the fight to marquez. He barely sc****d out that win against marquez Thats why I feel that way. Manfredy was a top fighter at that time and had recently knocked out arturo gatti therefore I would put that as a good win especially at that phase of floyd's career.
Morales goes for a record, moves up in weight at 135 and lost to a bad style matchup. He comes back down to 130 and was actually winning the rematch before Pac took it to another gear mid way. As for Marquez, it was a close fight and no one had a problem with the decision. You could argue Pac already beat him in the first fight by an admitted scoring error.
Anyweyz, I'm not wasting anymore of my time arguing why Morales and Marquez is better than Manfredy and Baldomir. It's sounds ****** to even think about it.Last edited by m00ks; 11-20-2009, 07:19 PM.Comment

Floyd also could have fought Margarito, Cotto and Shane.
But didn't.Comment

that's another thing that hurts floyd.
when you win so dominantly , people tend to question your competition.
think pac-delahoya , pac-hatton , pac-diaz. how many people have questioned those wins for pacquiao compared to his other fights?
it's not fair but it's just how it is.
look at how people question tyson's resume now when he was in his prime.
which fights is leonard remembered for? when he dominated or when he had a tough fight?
which ali is more remembered? the 1960's ali who no one could touch or the 1970's ali who had wars with norton , foreman , frazier?
it's not fair but that's how it goes.Comment

yes erik does, floyd has the most overated resume in the history of boxing,
the u.s overates floyds position in the p4p list, hbo fighter floyd gets no respect as a p4p fighter while no debate as p4p on pacs spot on the p4p listLast edited by Tha_Greatest; 11-20-2009, 07:32 PM.Comment

Boy what the hell are you talking about Baldomir had all the belts and just knocked out the lineal champ and he was on a run in his career and was DOMINATED by floyd to me that equates to a good win. And I don't know if you remember but quite a few people disagreed with both of those fights. I didn't say those wins are better read a little closer. I said that if you count those as great wins than you should atleast count those dominating wins over manfredy and baldomir as good. That scoring error **** does not mean anything to me I saw the fight I felt marquez won enough rounds to get the win and so did many others. And would you say manny losing the fight up until he got the knock out makes the win better or worse? The hell are you talking about boy. No one even knew who Baldomir was before the Judah fight.
