Just let them negotiate let them decide how much would be the split. Lets just hope that a contract could be sign between the two so that we could watch them fight.

how so if Floyd himself said Cotto wasn't a draw, but that Marquez had a whole country behind him?

that's what I remember when they are promoting mayweather-marquez fight, and it was a mexican national weekend (or whatever they call it) - they moved the fight schedule just for it (and the supposed injured rib)...how come they say now marquez wasn't a draw? they also had the fight shown in theaters to create more viewership

Mayweather has no credibility. In an interview with bryan kenny he said he won't fight mosley because he isn't a draw, and that jmm brings a whole country, and know he says that jmm brought nothing

according to the report:

pac/cotto did 1.25 million pay-per-views

floyd/jmm did 1.05 million pay-per-views

add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.
